Got a parcel from Autoality today; 10 purple 450 g/m2. Also made in Korea. Looks & feels like quality towels, though I haven`t tried them out yet. Also, a dozen Zero Edge (Autofiber) inbound, and 300 g/m2 rags from Maxim Mart.*

*First time dealing with Maxim Mart. Crossing fingers they`re not complete crap.*

And next time I bump this thread and @ AG, I`ll have photos up.
I think you`ll like the Zero Edge they are impossibly soft, and I like the way an edgeless towel lays so flat when folded in quarters. Not sure I like the way they stamp or print their logo on one side though.

Hi Nutbread. Sorry for the late reply.

I agree! They are simply fantastic towels. Extremely soft. I prefer them over the more expensive MFT 460, which is a surprise. And like you, I`m not too fond of the stamping. Other than that, quality towel for the money.

Got some new towels. First, AG`s Black Onyx Wheel / Engine Cleaning Towel and Mit set. The problem with these is, they`re are too nice to use on dirty wheels. I think they are for wheels, just because they are black and hide stains. Towels and mit are very nice with sewn edges.

Towels are a 75/25 blend per the sticker (although I believe the ad says 80/20 blend) and are a large 16x24"

Got the whole set during the $12.12 sale.

These are MicroFiber Tech`s Waffle Weave 16 x27". You get ten of them for $32.90. Towels are a little thinner than Guzzlers. But should be great to dry rinseless washes, since you get sooo many of them. The ad says they can hold 7x their weight, hence the little thinner. They are pretty soft and have satin edges.

    Question Re: Ultimate Microfiber Thread..PICS!!

Out of all mentioned so far, which would you say is `THE` best quality for polishing and waxing the paint and who carries them?

I couldn`t say what the best towel is. If you asked ten people, you would get ten different answers. It`s kind of like asking, what is the best wax.

I can tell you this, the best towel won`t be found at Pep Boys or Target. So, my point is, buy some high quality towels from somewhere that is known for selling high quality towels. After you find your favorite towels, buy more of them.

Do you guys cut off the tags on your towels? Seems like they could cause marring.

any micro that has a sewn on tag is probably garbage.. other thing to worry about is cheaper micro is probably also sewn with monofilament/fishing line

The tags will definitely cause scratching! I only bye MF towels that have the "sticky" pull off tags, never sewn tags.

The griots MF towels that I have had little perforated pull off tags, but still leaves a small sewn-on residual tag, is that ok?
