Basic Review: Meguiar`s D4510 Plastic & Vinyl Coating

This is just a basic review until I`ve had more time with this product. Even though I fell in love with Chemical Guys Black On Black dressing, I decided to pick this up and give it a go. The retail price on this comes in about half of the Chemical Guys product, which may make it a little more attractive to some.

Wheel well plastic was cleaned with Optimum Power Clean @ 2:1 followed by Meguiar`s Rinse Free Express Wash, dried with generic micro fiber towels. After doing a couple passes with this product it was evident right away that I was going to love it. Short bursts were enough to cover the plastic without emitting too much over spray. Application was easy and even, no runs. Product was allowed to dwell only 2 hours before wiping down to a nice dry finish, very similar to the CG Black on Black.

Final thoughts:

As you can see this product leaves a finish very similar to Chemical Guys Black On Black. I plan to spend more time with this product such as allowing more dwell time and different application methods. This product had very little mist floating around my garage which is a plus to me. At nearly half the price it`s a lot more budget friendly than the CG product.
I`m not sure about durability at this point but will update this thread as time permits.
