Looks nice. How thick is this? I really like the new formula of the OPT tire shine. I prefer a gel that isnt really thick. A lot of tires have the grid/lines in the side wall and make spreading a gel a PITA.

Stig: How did you apply the Opti-Bond? As a gel or 1:1 with the gun? I have watched a few videos using the gun and really like the idea. I can see how it would get a great thin even coat especially on the ribbed side walls on most tires.

Great title. Indeed one of the best out there. I gotta buy one of the guns and try it that way. I have seen some videos and it looks like a bottle can last a lifetime when used with the spray gun.

It`s about as thick as a car wash soap and spreads very evenly.

I applied it using a foam applicator. I`ve used it diluted 1:1 before and although it works well, I still prefer the thicker viscosity of the gel when applying the product to the tires.

Bobby, I agree they are a bit pricey but they are all metal construction and I am guessing they will last many many years. I have never had a clog, even after the gun has been sitting for a few weeks. I liked using it so much I bought a second gun to spray Megs Hyper Dressing in my wheel wells.

How does Opti-bond compare to Zaino tire coating?
