I can`t remember what I used on the tires I did this a couple months ago.

O!!! I like it. I used it on my 2000 Tiburon this weekend. Did a nice job.
I can`t really make it out.... All I see is a black car in the shade. I`m not surprised at all that it reflects. ANY black car will reflect in the shade. That`s not the product showing there. That is just black paint doing its thing in low light. Take it out in the sun so we can make out the details.Originally posted by 2boxers
Here`s a Picture of my car with Turtle Wax Ultra.
That`s because Meguiar`s doesn`t necessarily market its best stuff to the average joe. They have excellent stuff marketed for professionals. They may not have 50 different waxes on the shelf for people, but that`s not really what their specialty is in. I think Meguiar`s sets the standard for a lot of products. Just not the ones you find at Walmart perhaps... Even still, Gold Class is an excellent line that is better than most of the rest. NXT hasn`t disappointed much. Their professional line products aren`t available at Wally World, but their crap isn`t available at paint supply stores either.Originally posted by 2drtahoez71
Thats like a car company advertising that theyre new car is better than Kia and Hyundai....whoopdee doo,
Althought Meguirs does have SOMe good products, none of them are available at AutoZone or Wally World.
I`ve seen it in a few stores, but I`ve been too busy `learning` the NXT system to buy new stuff.
Damn Fuzz, you really don`t pull any punches. :brick

Thats pretty much what i was saying. I have a few meguiars pro products and have been very happy with them, however, there are some that I bought at AutoZone (back before I started "detailing") and I was unhappy with them, even back then.Originally posted by The Fuzz

But I do have a question...what do you mean by "paint supply store"? Do they sell Megs pro products?
Trutle Wax products are junk IMO.........
I like turtle wax bug and tar remover.
That picture shows a deep finish, wow, its black, did you expect anything different. Take it into the sun like the allmight Fuzz said, and then take pictures.
That said, TW does make a good bug and tar remover, I will give them that much. Then again, its mostly kerosene.

I have tried their Ultra Gloss and it`s pretty impressive (you can check out some pics here -)

The Ultra Gloss detailer is great, and their carpet spot remover is too. But, other than that, I agree.
Jeff.
Sure, it`s shiny, but how smooth is it, and how does it look in direct sunlight?
