    Some Questions and Opinions

Its about the time again for me to order some new products. I currently have DACP and SFP and Menzerna IP an FP im out of FP. However I absolutly love the stuff to death it leaves a flawless finish after DACP. Im considering getting SSR2 and SSR1 can I substiture the SSR1 for FP. ? I might just get both SSR1, SSR2 and Finial Polish II.

So for people that have used both Menzerna FP and SSR1 how are your thoughts of comparison.

Here is my current by the way:

    4 Star Car Wash
    4 Star UPP
4 Star Air Freshner (Leather Scent)
    Poorboys SSR1
    Poorboys SSR2

I wanted to add Menzerna FP II but its not at Premiumautocare yet.

I have found that I get better results using SSR2 and SSR1 than I did using DACP and SFP.
The SSR1 leaves one of the shiniest finishes I have seen. Also the SSR products do not get gummy like the Meguiars occasionally will do ... Plus the wipe off like there is nothing on the paint. I don`t know when SSR 2.5 will be out but it blows DACP out of the water. I have not used the Menzerna Product but, thought I would comment on the SSR`s.

I`m using PP rather than SSR1 and I just can`t believe the shine. It leaves the most highly polished white paint that I`ve ever seen. My friend the body shop owner just can`t believe his eyes when I go there. He just stands there shaking his head.

I do have some minor marks in various spots that just happen to daily drivers so soon I`ll be going over the whole truck with SSR2 then either 1 or PP, probably PP......because "if it works don`t fix it" and PP has certainly been working for me.
Dream big and be willing to do the work to get there.

I see I dont use SFP at all anymore I dont really like it doesnt get rid of the last of swirls. My normal run is DACP with a cutting pad then Menzerna IP with a polishing pad and FP after I do skip the IP sometimes.

I love the SSR polishes. They work well and are easy to buff.

I hate the Menzerna polishes. I can`t tell if they work well because I cause so many scratches from buffing difficulty that I`m defeating the purpose.

You must be using them incorrectly they are truly a great line of polish`s. I havent tried SSR1 yet but I can tell you I havent used anything that leaves the finish more smooth and swirl free then Menzerna FP.

Key is to not use alot of product or it will gum up QD or wet the pad and buff till dry then just buff away the slight haze with a MF.

I promise, I did that exactly. I had the very first FP and IP. IP wasn`t so bad but the FP drove me to disgust. After using the Poorboys polishes, I don`t think I`ll ever give Gluezerna another try.
