I have meg`s pads, but may have to purchase some from the edge. I like the idea of how available the edge makes himself to the little guys like us here on DC.
Thanks Aaron.

I ALWAYS!!!!!!!!! would contact the manufacturer prior to posting about problems. It`s just the right thing to do rather than jumping out there and bashing good business people. Sorry groebuck but you stepped in it..imo.
Dream big and be willing to do the work to get there.
There are going to problems like this with all pads at times. I have Lack Counrty pads from CMA and a few of them have had the backing pull off. And then there`s the orange power pads from CMA I`ve never had a problem with the backing coming off just the pads falling apart. It`s going to happen from time to time it`s ok just as long as the maker stands behind their product when it does.

I agree it is best to check with the manufacturer first ... but it is also good to post problems here so others are aware of potential problems as well as the customer service that is available to help resolve those issues.

apologies to anyone taking offense to my post -
..and I appreciate Aaron`s efforts to resolve the situation and I will be sending the pads to him...
but I never slammed the company..only recounted my experience (and an ounce of frustration) with the products I have ordered.
I never even thought about contacting the company or trying to get replacements...I was just going to chalk it up to experience and move on. So if I never posted I would never have known that was an option to me.
I only post my opinions and experiences on the products I try and use, and I feel they are honest without being derogatory.

i dont think there were any problems with your initial post. i know i would rather buy different pads than deal with sending broken pads back to the company, regardless if they offer free replacements. IMO, its just not worth the hassle of a *possible* replacement process.Originally posted by groebuck

on a different note, i am very interested to try the edge 2000 da pads (no velcro system). its seems like this is the way pads should be made.

Did I miss the group hug? :boohoo
I also apologize for any offense, especially to "The Edge" and Aaron.
Aaron, most of my purchasing experiences have made me forget that life lesson taught us by The Osmonds oh so long ago..."One (or 2 or 3 or) bad apple don`t spoil the whole bunch, girl!" Thanks for the reminder. Seriously, to jump back in with an offer to make things right tells me something about the type of business you`re trying to run. So I look forward to trying the new Edge pads for my PC.
However, I do think hearing about experiences like Groebuck`s are one of the reasons we come here. If Aaron can follow up with Groebuck on his specific experiences, it should help improve the product line.
Hey Fuzz....I think I need a "Diarrhea of the mouth" emoticon!
