    PC Handle Fell Off

I have had this PC for less than a year and the inner threads on the actual machine stripped out. I saw some posts about this on the flex but has anyone had this probleem with their PC.

To be honest I never really used the handle much - so maybe it was loose and over time it striped itself out. I just thought it was strange.

I don`t recall what the warranty is on the PC, but I would assume that would be covered if the warranty is still in force. But, I never use the handle, just seems easier to grab the machine at the head - gives me control of the pressure applied and manuevering in general.

    Re: PC Handle Fell Off

The problem I had on the Flex was the bolt just sheared off at the handle. It wasn`t in there very tight though, so I was able to back the broken part of the bolt out of the machine. A great member of the forums was kind enough to send me their Flex handle, so that solved that problem. The same type of situation may apply here. Maybe someone with a spare PC handle (due to most people not using them) will donate it. I`m kind of used to my handles, so I`m one of those weird ones who still use it. I use the machine one handed 80 percent of the time, but I do use that side handle sometimes and I use it at least once on every detail. Different strokes for different folks for sure.

If the threads in the machine are stripped, I don`t think another handle will help stay.

Yep the threads are shreaded on the inside. The handle is good I was trying to tighten it up but it wouldn`t get tight that`s when I notices the inside threads were stripped out.
