I`m new here and have a few questions. I recently bought a black 2007 SL55 after owning corvettes for the last 10 years. The SL is in pretty good shape but of course full of swirls. I only had a few days to work on it before the weather started getting bad and will not truly get to detail it again until late Feb or March. I washed, clayed, used Wolfgang total swirl remover, WG paintwork polishing enhancer and WG finishing glaze. Topped it off with Adams machine polish. As far as the swirls I probably got about 80% of it, more time in the spring I can do better. To the average person it looks pretty good but I think I can get more out of it. I was thinking about trying Pinnacle Souveran over the Adams or trying the Blackfire Wet Ice combo, any advvice is appreciated. In the spring I`ll get to the wheels, wheel wells, engine, etc. Also the leather seats are perforated, does anyone handle cleaning the seats differently when they are full of little holes? One good thing is the Mercedes clear coat is not as hard as my last Corvettes, that was a hard clear coat. Thanks for any help, also it is not a daily driver, just for fun.
