Not Washing (or waxing) for a while

I found out I tore a cartalage in my wrist last week! Spent the balance of last week running to doctors. I am so pi$$ed off! This will be a long haul. I have been in some pain over the last few weeks but finally had an MRI Torn TFCC? Started PT and in a brace. Guess i will be putting the new flex and new PB chemicals on ice until after the winter.

Tried cleaning the wheels last week and I could not twist my wrist. Next day i got the results.

I will be living through you guys for a while.

Sorry to hear that Jeff. Gotta be tough.
But on the flip side, you probably have enough sealant on it to last till the next decade.

You should still come to the detail weekend. YOu could walk around, sit, have some food and enjoy it this time instead of working your butt off.

Washing and waxing with one hand should be doable.
Using a polisher might be a problem, but you can take pretty good care of a vehicle even with out power equipment.

Re: Not Washing (or waxing) for a while

To start I am sorry to hear about your wrist. Two weeks ago I cut my middle finger pretty good on the tip, sliced off almost the whole top...I was way worried about detailing for the weekend, as I had a long weekend and 3 cars and one motorcycle lined up. I got a rubber cover thingie for the finger and used it very little while I let my right hand do most all the work.

All this said I know you are a one hander for the time being, I say find a friends / family members to help a tad and use your good hand.

I`ve seen some handicap people with great limitations do some incredible things.

I hope all has been well with you. I will survive but I really does suck. I am a strong lefty and its my left hand. I will see you next month in at the Detail Weekend. I have been doing PT and I hope to beat this in record time.
