    PB`s Black Hole

I just used BH last weekend for the first time and the little 01 black VW golf looked amazing.

I kind of cheated on the job a little.
    baked on crap APC+ 8:1
    washed with NXT
dried with 3 mega plush MF`s
    spot polished with Flex/105/orange
BH the entire car with flex/BH/yellow polish.
wheel wells got More Shine, and front bumper plastic air dams.
    Tires got NL

No interior was done. But I did wipe the door jams with a little quick wax.

I`ll try to take some pics. I`ll be at a birthday party this weekend may be I`ll give it a quick wash before pics..

I am not surprised. BH served me well. It is another good product amoung all of Poorboy`s detailing supplies.

BH is a killer glaze for shine and the plus side is the fillers that help a great deal with dark colors

X2. You want to put some protection over that or it will just wash away

The customer didn`t wanna pay for all that. I could of used just a sealant or wax, But I really wanted to test BH. it`s ability to darken or deepen, and conceal fine scratches is amazing. Not to mention it produced a very nice shine!

Then it will all be gone the next rain.

Taking the extra 30 minutes and a couple of dollars of product would have been well advised.

It looked great rolling away from the detail, but it will be short lived.

IMHO not a good way to keep customers.

I think BH did a bit of cleaning, so After it is washed off, I believe the finish would look nicer. The wheels were a pain, and I spotted with 105 on bad areas. I told him 100, he said it was too much, It was all I was giving up for what he gave me. For what he gave me I should of taken it to the car wash, and just did a quick coat of Natty`s red, see you later.

I`m really tired of giving up my work for nothing, and I know the customers who I really want to treat nice!

Well as an outsider looking in to this thread, I understand what you did but as to why ($100) doesn`t make sense to me. Because its still a job and a job is to be done well, expecially if I am putting my name on it. I would of just done the Natty`s because it would of been close to the same result and the customer still would of been pleased(even though they are not the type you want/or treat nice) and perhaps would of spread your name/work around. Now they will have a shiny car for a few days and perhaps not go back to you for any more service. Just my 2 cents.

    Re: PB`s Black Hole

Grisby, he didn`t pay me close to $100, The job was still well done, IMO BH looks better then Natty`s especially on a black neglected finish.

This is my second time doing this car. His coworkers asked what he did to the car it looked so nice and shiny. So I feel my job was done. If he would like some winter protection, I`ll be glad to swing by wash and sealant or wax, for another $60.

I am tired of working for free. what is fair is fair, I have to many customers looking to get there cars done, and not enough time. I do good work, and always leave my customers happy. How much correction, and how much protection is up to them, and what they are willing to spend.

PS. It has rained for about three days, and the car still looks mint!

Seems kind of hostile for agreeing with my post that disagreed with the way you handled your "detail".

Since you are rationalizing/justifying yourself, why did you post it if you didn;t want anyones opinion?

    Re: PB`s Black Hole

Everyone is entitled to there opinion.

Just letting you know I was not going to seal, this up for what I was paid. BH looked unbelievable!

Not everyone is a waxwaster! LOL
