    flex, 205 with polishing pad.

I used speed 4 on the Flex with Meguiars new polishing pad. I use a nice amount of pressure for the first three passes and lighted up for during the last 3-4 passes, till it became very difficult for me to see the polish. Here is are a few shots.

This is a pic of the damage, looks a lot worse then picture show.

A few pics after polishing the rear pillar.

I think the van is a 02 Honda Odyssey. I really love this combo I`ll post more pics when its all done. I have very little time these days to do the things I truly enjoy.

Good to see you enjoying that Flex.
I still don`t believe in grit guards.

JP, I`m really loving the flex, as well as 205. The flex is a beast. The forced drive helps alot when correcting.

    I love my flex.....

But polishing as per one of our members might be the wrong approach.

Re: flex, 205 with polishing pad.

Ron, Are you talking about my other 205 post on usage?
I realized that my pad was still a little` damp my last test, this messed everything up. The 205 was so watered down from the pad.

I now start with a "clean dry pad", I mist the pad with FI and apply 4 drops near the center on the pad that stays clean. some times three depending on section. This seams to work well. I clean the pad after doing 2 sections, with a MF towel and a firm hand while the flex is moving. I may add another mist of FI as needed, guesstimate about 6-7 times per vehicle. This helps spread it nicely, and I think it helps keep a little more product on the surface and seam to help the flex move smoothly. If this does not make sense just ignore me.

No I wasnt commenting on your posts at all. At the risk of getting in trouble there was a person that was telling us that polishing would kill the car.

Re: flex, 205 with polishing pad.

I now fully understand Ron`s comment, He PM`ed me and I can`t believe some of this guys posts. He sounds very immature, But i was after reading a few of them.

I`ll post more picks of the van when it`s all done. My next few weekends are all filled with events, Villa Roma, wedding, Lake George, and some other stuff! So basically that leaves me with little time to

    Thanks for all the comments.
