Not to ask a stupid question but, what should I put over EX-P should I use EX,PWS, or just wax. This is a daily driver and I do have time each week to add wax, sealant for added protection. The vehicle is washed several times per week also.

The vehicle was clayed ssr`ed bh`ed and ex-p`ed.The thing looks great imho.Much better than before, and not a swirl.

Seeing that you like the appearance, why not just add another application of EX-P? Definitely not PwS, because of the P in PwS.

You don`t have to put anything on top of it....

Paste wax or another coat of the EXP...if your happy with the way it looks...leave it alone...you have good protection on it as is

Ya know you want to. It`s addictive.
But this addiction can be quite good for you. It`s exercise.
So Ron says, just do it !
Get out that tub of wax, and add another coat.

    Re: Looking for some wisdom

After talking to Troy last week,he said the wax route is ok here in the northeast. He said wax sometimes gets oily in hot hot weather down south.Sealants are better in hot places.

I have never used a 1 step product but I just received the PWS and will try it tomorrow.Black van, will not be cared fore much after its done.Is the PWS,orange pad combo the right way to start?I was also gonna top with EX??? or should I just go to straight wax?

Should the 1 step be countered with a white pad and something else??

I wouldn`t jump right to the orange pad first. Remember, least aggressive method first! You always want to preserve as much paint as possible. Start with a white pad and see if it achieves what you want. If not, then you can move to an orange.

I agree with blk45, though not for fear of paint removal. I can`t imagine orange pad/PwS being that aggressive. If the white (polishing) pad/PwS combo resolves your issue it will save a step--time=money.

    Re: Looking for some wisdom

I would say pic up some SSR1 and some PP, Pro polish works wonders on everything!

IMO, 99% of your gloss will come from final polishing step.

The rest is icing on the cake. Your on to something good if your using exp, and natty`s for extra shine and protection!

NJcarting, PwS I have been wanting to try this for awhile now. Let me how it works out!
