    Liquid Wax options?

Im in the market for some new carnuba wax, but I only want liquid, not interested in paste. I plan on layering the wax (2-3 coats) on top of PWS/EXP. The car is carbon grey pearl, basically a metallic charcoal color.

    So far Ive found:
    Surf City Garage Barrier Reef
Meguiars Gold Class Car Wax Liquid
Meguiars Mirror Glaze #26 Hi-Tech Liquid Car Wax
Mothers California Gold Pure Carnauba Car Wax
    Pinnacle Liquid Souveran Wax

Currently Im leaning towards the Pinnacle Liquid Souveran but Im not sure if its worth the money.

    Anybody have any other reccomendations?

The Liquid Souveran out of the choices listed above.
I still don`t believe in grit guards.

Since you aren`t getting many takers, I guess I`ll throw in what little I can offer.
Of those your list, I have used:

Meguiars Gold Class Car Wax Liquid
Decent look, questionable durability, but it was good for my 4 to 6 week needs.
It is a cleaner wax so it wouldn`t be my choice for layering.

Meguiars Mirror Glaze #26 Hi-Tech Liquid Car Wax
Decent look. Again, durability was adequate for my use. No cleaners.

Mothers California Gold Pure Carnauba Car Wax
Almost identical results to the #26 for me.

Given what I have read about the liquid Souveran, I think I would probably try it for your use.
As far as the cost, you evidently have the funds to pay for it and the way I look at it, it`s only about $20 more than some of the others.

I don`t know anything about the Surf City line.

I also don`t know just how much I buy into the layering thing, either.
A couple of coats to be sure of full coverage and then another coat every 4 to 6 weeks works for me.

That`s a matter of opinion, but yeah, probably somewhere between 10 and 50.
Our problem with products is not being limited in choices.
    It`s knowing what to choose.

Just curious as to why you`re against paste for topping? Some of the better looking carnaubas are paste, and they are just as easy (if not easier) to use than liquid.

Also, you might want to look into Collinite 845. I am just getting familiarized with it, but like it very well so far.
I still don`t believe in grit guards.

I just prefer working with liquid wax.

Ive been using Nattys blue for the past 3 years or so but Im almost to the bottom of the container. I think I left it out in the garage when the temps were too cold because the waxes consistency is sort of flaky, that would be the best way I could describe it.

I just did a search on the 845, sounds promising. Although it seems to be popular because of its durability which I like but looks and slickness are my biggest concern since my car is garage kept and hardly driven anyways.

    Re: Liquid Wax options?

Alright Ive narrowed down my choices to Pinnacle Liquid Souveran, Collinite 845, or Clearkote CMW.

From what Ive read Pinnacle and Clearkote are known for thier "wet" look, which would mute the metallic in my paint less?

I have collinite 845 and I recommend it to anyone. Very good wax with long lasting durability.

If appearance is your goal my vote goes to the Pinnacle.

I think you would be happy with either one of these, with the nod in durability going to 845.
