LOL they might think its plastic explosive and and you would have to convince them saying "no no its not C4 its that illegal yellow detailing clay

But seriously What would happen if I sent some of you guys this yellow clay? who is going to know what it is or if its illegal? I think the law its meant to stop huge quantities to be imported to the US, not 4-5 packages.
I can see Steve getting ready to type hey Distrbd... it doesn`t matter...its illegal for one once or one ton.

Re: Which is your favorite Clay

This summer I was visiting the detroit MI area and took a trip over to Windsor where I picked up about 1/2+ a bag full (plastic shopping like bag) of Erazer and had it in plain site on our back seat when driving back over the border. The border agent asked what it was, I told him it was cleaning compound for auto paint and he didn`t bat an eye. Now i have to admit that I was ignorant and thought this stuff wasn`t available in Calif (where I live) only because of our wacky VOC regs.

Coming back to LA I flew into LAX (stuff was in my checked baggage) and no problems there either.

Point is, I highly doubt our border agents are on the look out for detailing clay. Now 44,000 pounds I don`t know about go through the Windsor border and you can claim that it`s automotive modeling clay HAHA lol.

The clay I got from Zaino was yellow, and worked excellent. But, I don`t know what it is currently.

Re: Which is your favorite Clay

This is kind of funny!!! I had the yellow clay that Zaino used to sell and I accientally orerded some more a while back. Well when it came in, it was now red so I thought it must have been an "improved formula" so I started using it and left the yellow that I had in the garage. I guess I may want to keep that stuff around. Of course I only have 2-3 bars left.
