So, if, hypothetically, someone had some of this miraculous stuff, what would the going rate be?
And, how can you tell what you have vs. the yellow Mothers clay (which I`ve read is not the same stuff? )

It`s a ban on selling any form of automotive clay that resembles AutoWax`s patented "design". They basically hold the rights to sell and manufacture Clay from what I understand.

Considering the already high price point for Clay, it`s merely just for the ease of use and comfort. It isn`t miraculous to a point I`d pay more than $5 for regular clay. I`d save it and use it for those special vehicles. Mother`s clay is alot smaller, and last time I remember wasn`t as easy to mold. For example, if you were to bend the big block, you wouldn`t see a hint of the crumbly texture on the sides. Almost I guess like Taffy or Soft Gum.

I also get some from my local supplier....gray in color, that is real good for over-spray removal and the likes of that
I think I`ve used that version, except it`s Sonus. Then again it`s all the same, just different sizes, weight, aggressiveness, and color

    I miss Erazer

Re: Which is your favorite Clay

I still have 3 unopened PB`s I purchased back when he had a special running. I also still have a bar (or two) of Mother`s yellow bars. And 1 unopened ClayMagic package and one large bar of red ClayMagic. Plus several other bars in various stages of use. So I`m set for now, but as someone mentioned, I`m not set to last to 2013.

Calgary, what is the story on the VW clay? Can I assume that would be VolksWagen? I haven`t seen that offering at my local dealership.

Re: crumbling problems with Mother`s clay, I haven`t experiened that over the 1/2 dozen or so bars I`ve been through.

Re: ClayMagic, the blue bar, it works fine, though not my favorite preferring the Mother`s clay (and likely PB`s).

Re: Which is your favorite Clay

ya its Victoria wax, the clay is similar to any other grey clay (which is the same with almost every company). I just use it becasue I pick it up when I pick up the wax. Really there is nothing "special" about it but it is a nice clay to work with

Does anybody know if the Meguiar`s Professional yellow 7oz. bar is Erazer or not? I see there are a few places that still have that in stock.

I actually use Meg`s Quik Clay. Available off the shelf, does a great job IMO. I may try other brands soon to compare.

Right, I "knew" about the litigation etc. between AWC and Kucala, but, seeing as how Meg`s has 2 grades of clay now (blue (I think) and red), but before had 1 (yellow), I thought that maybe the yellow was the Erazer/Kucala clay.
