    "Pro" car care products

Being fairly new to detailing as a business/hobby, I am still learning about different product manufacturers, etc. I have learned a ton lurking the pages here, so I wanted to get an idea of how popular the products I use are. When I initially purchased my trailer set-up, I also ordered a detailing package that consisted of brushes, MF`s, PC, etc. As far as the polishes/waxes/cleaners, they are all from "Pro" car care products (prowax.com).

I mainly wanted to see how popular this product line is with other detailers out there. I have been happy with the various cleaners, waxes, etc, but I also know there are many other products out there. I do plan on trying some of the Poorboy products, as well as Klasse, and some of the others I have heard good about here. Next weekend I am attending the class-deal at Maguires. Being somewhat of a newbie, other than just learning about their products, I am sure I will pick up some other good info there.

Please let me know of any experience you may have had with this product, any products that you feel would be comparable, or maybe a step up quality-wise. As I use this up, I will be evaluating either replacing with the same line, or trying others.

    Thanks in advance.

My old boss loved their stuff, I thought they were good but they weren`t my favorite. But I never had a chance to try all of their products either. Their Swirl Remover did what it claimed, it removed swirl marks but I like the way my Presta Swirl Remover works more than the Pro. Miracle Wax was a hell of a one step product for older vehicles that needed a quick shine, and Quickor left a fairly deep finish but IMO lacked something I wanted, can`t really explain it I guess. One of their cleaners (can`t remember which one) worked great for interior work, I`ll have to research and figure out which one it was, I wouldn`t mind having it in my arsenal.

IMO, bang for the buck, their products are top notch. Machine Cleaner #2, Pro Polish #1, and Liquid Rubber Dressing were my favorites. However, as with most (if not all) detailing products, when they switched their formulations to become "VOC compliant," and even sadder -- "CARB/OTC approved" we all (professional detailers) suffered.
