You will need to use a wash mitt along with the pressure washer.

.5 gallons per minute would be the negative for me. I suggest you search for something specifying 2.0 gallons per minute or higher. Yes, the cost will go up but you`ll not suffer from lack of volume when you really need it.

This is based on my own findings. I bought a cheapie and it was almost useless so I spent more $$$ to buy what I should have in the 1st place after doing some research. As always, hindsight is 20/20.

Give it a lot of thought before you buy.
The lower priced units may not have enough power to be of much benefit.
The better models may be more expensive than they will be worth to you.

The one I have is the cheapest model of the Campbell-Hausfeld professional series and cost somewhere around $300.
It is rated at 2 gpm, 2200 psi and has a 6,5 hp gasoline engine. It has high and low pressure soap application capabilities, adjustable nozzle, high and low pressure rinse and a soap tank for injecting the soap so you don`t need a siphon hose going to a soap jug.

    1. It has been troublefree for about a year.
    2. It has enough power that you need to be carful of where/how you use it.
    3. It is fine for cleaning the house.
    4. It is fine for cleaning a deck.
    5. It is fine for cleaning a years accumulation of crud from the pontoons on my pontoon boat.
    6. It is fine for cleaning wheel wells on vehicles.
    7. The main source of cleaning is the force of the water spray. I have not yet found what I consider to be a good soap for use with it.
    8. It will not remove all the dirt from a vehicle or my fiberglass runabout. I wouldn`t even consider trying to dry either one after using just the pressure washer. There is way too much dirt left to be able to wipe the surface without marring.
    9. I probably don`t really want a soap that is that strong, anyway.

Personal opinion. (Worth just what it cost you)
If it`s just for vehicle use, go to the DIY spray wash to clean your wheel wells and spend the pressure washer money on something else.
    Any questions, just ask.

Not really, but my experience has always been that whatever information a manufacturer doesn`t include is probably something they don`t want to talk about.
The high pressure is probably reached by having a small discharge nozzle to concentrate the water flow. Kind of like when you restrict the water flow from a hose with your thumb.

Not sure what to say here. Many of the gas units cost 6 or 7 times as much as many of the electric units. There are very well built models out there. If you`re trying to buy a gas unit for $150 then you might want to duck and run.

DON`T CLEAN YOUR DECK WITH A PRESSURE WASHER!!!!

you can use one if you want to strip the paint!
