MOTHERS Fender well brush.

I have the fabric well liners. Usually i spray them down with APC and give them a strong rinse. Figure i would add this brush to my ever growing collection. Did the usual with the APC then agitated with the Mothers brush, then rinsed. Yes, it did make a difference. Brush is easy to use and gets into area`s that are difficult. For $8 you can`t go wrong.

I like it. Just had to get used to pulling it out of the wheel well in a manner that wouldn`t fling cleaner at myself.

Are those better than the ones at [Big Box]? I see that presumably protective bumpers/etc. but I`m wondering about the bristles themselves. (I use them for some undercarriage work.)

Don`t know why, but after today`s wash, the felt fender wells never looked better! This brush & APC.

I actually prefer the Griots Garage fender brush....longer handle...for those of us with short arms.....its the ticket...sadly, they do not sell it any more

Man oh man ! I used that brush on the soft Nissan paint of my Rogue.

I should have stuck to using it as intended, like you did... but, it`s now long gone. (at the bottom of a pond, where I whipped it. Brush not truck

)

I often wonder about that with brushes like these. You see them in the vendors color schemes at detailing outlets and often the same/similar brushes with different colors at the box stores under some generic house brand label. I use some tire dressing applicators which I first found at PMBG under the Carrand lable, but when I couldn`t find them there I started seeing the exact same product under a dozen different names. Exact same product...different packaging.

Getting back to the brush.

I really wish they would do a "low profile" version of these for cars. There is no chance that would fit between the tire and fender lip on my car and I doubt it would fit around the same space on my daughter`s more "mundane" car either. I don`t get too hung up on wheel wells because they get dirty almost instantly after being cleaned, but occasionally it would be good to get in there and knock off all the crud.

I have an inexpensive wheel brush (SpeedMaster style) for those tight wheel wells......my daughter has a Hyundai Sonata and there`s not way one of those full size brushes fit.

Does that work very well? I`m just envisioning using my SpeedMaster for something like that and I don`t know if the bristles are stiff enough, especially on that carpet-like sound deadening stuff.
