    Re: CarPro Clarify

I really like Clarify, I think I like Scholl Concepts ICE Gel glass cleaner a bit better but only 1 place in the US has it and it`s not cheap, I say think because it`s been a few years since I`ve had any to use. I really like the CarPro GlassFiber towels but man they`re expensive. They do seem to go a lot farther than other glass towels I`ve owned. Other ones I`m using like 5 or 6 to do all the windows. GlassFibers I get a car done with 3 tops.

I still hate doing windows though, and "streak free" claims are only as good as the person who`s cleaning the windows lol. The process isn`t tough, don`t spray too much on the window, use a good towel. don`t use towel for too many passes and you have a streak free window. I still manage to only 80% get it sometimes. Pretty sure I really liked Gtechniq`s Perfect Glass too and it`s from overseas so 1 gallon jug = 5l.

Clarify is loads better than most stuff I`ve used but it should be at $60 a gallon.

Reload is the only `poor` product I`ve used from CarPro to date. Tried their Tar X at the weekend and it`s the first nicely scented tar remover I`ve ever used yet damn effective and safe on trim too... anyone agree or have I been sniffing too much Eraser again CarPro Clarify

I like it better than Gyeon Glass, but... I like Gyeon Glass, my grip with is was I couldn`t find the gallon jugs it for sale anywhere in the US. I always try to buy gallons of anything I use, even if it`s something like glass cleaner where a gallon would last me for a really long time.

Anyone try Sonax Glass in comparison to Clarity? I was intrigued that Mike Phillips uses it as a prep wash and it works well for me but I don’t see much dirty glass though my wife’s minivan comes close sometimes when I’m not able to get to it in a while.

Sonax is good. About the same amount of cleaning power with lubrication going to Clarify so the towel drags less on glass. I have seen Mike do the same with Sonax but then again I would rather save the glass cleaner and use something else like N914 as it is more cost effective than blowing thorough a bottle of Sonax. Keep in mind that he has an endless supply of product lol.

Ain`t that the truth. Thank you Guz! And no, I will not be doing a prep wash with glass cleaner but Mike using it gave me confidence in its cleaning capability and that it didn`t leave anything behind. I have a 5L of Sonax Glass so it`ll be a while before I get anything different.

UMMM.... I`ve seen your 555 way shoot outs with everything from ceramic coatings to high end sprays. Pretty sure you have close to endless supply of product too. Hell you have so much you give stuff away. Which reminds me I should go use the VRT you sent me. *thumbs up*
