Re: WW/RW Showdown - N-914 vs Feynlab Pure Rinseless

I kinda notice that too. Water was dingy. Wonder if acuRAS82 is right about color. Will i got some new pluffles for waterless wash. Maybe after a few times and their a little more dingy, i’ll test it.

Good call. I have some new, once washed all-purpose towels. They haven’t gotten dirty, just one wash out of the bag. I’ll try one sitting in 1:250 PR.

Cool. Another option is PR could be pulling detergent residue out. My all-purpose I’m trying out was washed with Pinnacle MF Cleaner which seems to rinse very clean to me. We’ll see what happens.

I`m interested in your results. My rinseless towels are a couple of years old, but I only use them in the winter. If PR is really THAT good at cleaning, I`ll get a 5L and soak and wash all my towels. I`m starting to think that gloves are a necessary item when using it.

Just as an FYI, I’m starting with one little AP light blue towel (the kind Mike P. always uses in forest green color) in 2gal. If I don’t see anything by late night, I’ll add another of the same towel since they are so thin.

If I don’t see anything by the morning, I’ll add in a brand new, once washed B&S WW towel (these are thick, light blue on one side, grey on the other).

I get the color of the water taking on the color of the towel. The towels I use are green. I`m not sure how brown would come out of that. Maybe I`m over thinking this.

No color transfer yet from the light blue all purpose MF. This after 2+ days.

I just added the waterless wash towel to see if it loses any color.

WW/RW Showdown - N-914 vs Feynlab Pure Rinseless

Just checked the RW water now. It looks clean or maaaaybe just a very slight cloudy but I truly think that’s in my head. I believe there is reflection from my off white dryer that makes it look this way and I think it looked like this before putting the towel in. The clear container I put the water in was cleaned with Dawn prior to dumping the RW in. And the towels being used have never been dirty.

I see no signs of color transfer even from the thicker WW towel.

So I’m guessing that Pure Rinseless is essential cleaning dirt out of the regular use WW towels that you guys are using.

Huh. I guess that Towel Kleen that I use isn`t so good. Thanks for testing this out. Looks like I`ll be soaking a lot more towels and switching towel cleaner.

I still use my Towel Kleen as a pre-soak for dirty towels. I have not tried putting a used, clean WW towel in the solution to see if I get embedded dirt causing brown cloudiness. I can try that tomorrow to let you know how my cleaner, or my cleaning process, works out.
