To me it’s a pretty unique smell. Maybe one of the other guys have smelled something similar.

It is not as potent/chemically smelling as other coatings.

Wondered as well. I have some people’s vehicles I’d like to try another coating on roll.

Just received this, it’s supposed to be graphene infused but I don’t know much else about it. Wasn’t worth its own thread so I shared here. Sorry if it impedes the discussion, I can delete.

Will be very interesting to hear what you think of the Angelwax Graphene Infused Wax.

Looking awesome the SPS Graphene Coating so far Scott!

Dave have you any knowledge about the amount of graphene in the coating?
The outside of the box developing of the graphene is starting to move on to the consumer and industry market. When they have found a way to get it solid or how to describe it. Then some cool stuff can happen if they have right about it`s ability from the graphene material. Was it in 2010 it got the Nobel price I think or the scientists behind it. Think that it was not even fully made in full pureness when they got it. But the adding of the graphene is going to be aid many products and not just talking about detailing here LOL. Interesting to see how it goes and what more solid blends with graphene can do when they getting more and more in them.

    10 month update!

Coating is still going strong. Still excellent hydrophobic properties; it just gently rained and I ran out to check to see the beading/etc. Self cleaning ability is excellent as well. Vehicle still sits outside 24/7 and had some dirt/road grim/a lot of pollen on it. Did a quick waterless wash and it cleaned up extremely well. The surface still feels slick.

I am continued to be impressed with this coating.

I’m sorry I missed this post. I’ll try to find out. Off hand I would say a fair amount judging by the color of the product. The carriers are clear and it’s fairly dark when you get it, definitely not a scientific measurement lol.

Glad to hear you’re liking it. Alfred has a few new projects going. I’m still anxiously awaiting a release of a self healing product.

^^^That could be a game changer...as long as the application isn`t a pain...

Thanks for the update. The longest I have had it is like 6 months. At 10 months it sounds like it is working out great.

Coming up on 12 months in a few days (May 19th). Came outta Winter well after a carpet-bombing decon wash a month or so ago. Probably washed the car maybe 5 or 6 times in the last year. Put it on a new work van in February, we`ll see how that does with no maintenance whatsoever come next Fall. It`s a nice product for sure and the Detailer is quite a versatile bottle of stuff; glass, interior plastics, exterior trim.
