    Review - CarPro Wheel Covers

Thank you Avi for sending this product for review.

    Product:

    CarPro Wheel Covers

    Cost:

    $49.99 (4 pack)

    Product description from CarPro

Introducing CarPro’s new Wheel Covers! Designed for professional detailers who want to prevent the polishing dust from covering the freshly cleaned and/or coated wheels in abrasive dust.

Developed with waterproof materials, CarPro’s Wheel Covers are a great way to protect your wheels from weather damage and maintain their clean finish during storage.

This set of 4 wheel covers is suitable for wheels up to 22" in diameter and simply slip over the wheel without having to lift the vehicle or remove the wheel.

    Features:

    • High tear resistance and durable material
    • Breathable and waterproof
    • Set of 4 covers
    • Prevents damage from dirt and scuffs during storage
    • Designed for professional use
    • Suitable for all weather use

CarPro introduced these as a new product for the early part of 2019. The use of these are pretty straight forward. They are designed to keep the wheels dust free from the correcting phase or from just storage of the vehicle.

They come as a pack of 4. The description is also found on the label

They are designed to fit up to a 22 inch wheel and tire. They also showcase the new emblem design.

I don’t have access to a 22 inch wheel and tire but I do have access to something a bit smaller. They fit with no issues on the 17 inch wheels and tires for my 2002 Camaro. It is easily seen the excess material these have with a smaller wheel.

They also fit without issue on the 19 inch wheels and tire on my dad’s 2015 Impala. Here they are stretched out a bit more compared to the 17’s.

    Final thoughts:

I can not comment on the durability and how they will hold up. But these are a quality piece. They fit good and they will get the job done protecting the wheels from compound/polishing dust.

I also can not comment on the waterproof aspect as I did not test that out. But the material is definitely waterproof from just feeling it.

They also do look nicer than some of the others I have seen especially with the CarPro logo as it just adds to the aesthetics.

These will definitely get the job done for anyone looking for a set of wheel covers.

Give them a try and report back your feedback.

Great review, Guz on a very overlooked product. I have a set and wonder how did I get product on the covers when they are in use, a time saver to avoid re-doing something you have already done. When customers see them on their wheels they always ask why and I show them why.

Hopefully they do. If not they can be purchased straight through CarPro.

    Thanks for this.
I was looking at them, because the ones I have are only floorsack material, non waterproof.
