Another in this class is DP`s Hydro Wet Seal. I`ve used it on my wheels, but not on my paint. Due to the wheels being a totally different environment than regular paint, I can`t really say too much about durability. At first I thought it was pretty short lived, but after 2~3 applications it seems to be holding up better.

I like car pro’s hydro lite (non concentrated version) better than hydro blue. I’ ve only used on wheels but performs better lasts longer

the CMX stuff is nice it definitely changes the look on my coat car when I use it. It’s like a cheaper version of polish angel high gloss or cosmic

Not many people get good results with CMX as a stand alone but as a topper it would probably work well.

How does CMX compare to Turtle Wax spray coating?

To me, TW is probably what Mother’s was hoping CMX would turn out like.

At first I did not because I felt like it was marketed to be a Gyeon cancoat and I had high expectations. But the product has great appearance when topping a coating car it has filling properties and darkening properties like reload and NV luster but it also has good beading. Usually the toppers that have that filling effect and darkening have crappy water beading with exception to cosmic and high gloss. The mothers does change the look of my paint it’s one of the few toppers that do and it has good beading. I still think they messed up the way they marketed it and a lot of us have bad taste in there mouth. They would have been some much better off marketing as topper. I also have a soft spot for acrylics I had a very long relationship with Klasse like 10 layer a month....before catching the coating bug.

I have also added CMX to carpro essence plus with very good results

    Mixed together, or used separately?

I was going to ask about Lustre now that you`ve used it, but part of me doesn’t want to know. Sounds like it wasn’t a spectacular beader though?
