Heh heh, the Crown Vic has a decal right on the center of the dashboard warning about how you gotta position "equipment" the right way for that exact reason. Yeah, it`d take a bit of thought for a cargo organizer, where you have stuff going both ways.

I saw an industrial version of it at a DIY car wash. It weighed a ton,especially with the monstrous hose attached to it. It was sturdy, though.

Nope. It was all plastic.

Huh, OK. I have this faint memory of using a cast metal one somewhere...want to say it was potmetal rather than aluminum, but I just don`t recall it all that well. Must`ve been thirty years ago...
