Griot’s pump up foamer, short review

I purchased 2 of the foamers with our last stock order. Now that I’m back working I’ve been able to use them.i have one with rubber cleaner that I use for tires and wheel wells as well as engine cleaning. The other I have iron and fallout remover which is my wheel cleaner and decontamination product. I bought them thinking I would not only cut down on the amount of product used but also get better dwell time. So far they work great as the pictures show. We’ll see how they hold up over time. They do come with a few repair parts and a full repair kit is available .

I can see where this will be a big time saver. The foaming of tire cleaner seems very effective at covering the entire side wall. Add a Porter Cable DA with a stiff nylon brush and you have the quickest, most effective tire cleaning system.

I know this to be true from personal experience, and from a Mike Phillips tutorial. This is the perfect way to clean tires in preparation for a tire coating, like Tuf Shine.

Thanks for sharing. Looks like a great way to apply both products. How much use do you get before needing to pump it back up?

Slightly off topic - How do you like their Iron and Fallout remover? Do you prefer it for wheels over their heavy duty wheel cleaner, or is it just mainly to cut down on number of different products used? How does it compare to Iron X / others?

The iron remover is very thick so it requires more pumping. The thinner products I can do all 4 tires and wheel wells. I use the iron remover because I think it works better than the others.

Awesome. Thanks for the input! I`ll look to pick up a bottle when I`m out of my current options.

Gee, this almost piques my curiosity enough to try one of those gizmos. I gather these work a lot better than the foaming trigger sprayers...

Hmm I was wondering about these. Maybe next time I have some coin I`m looking to spend I`ll pick one up.

I’ve got one Nextzett sprayer that I love, they are real time and hand savers. I’ll have to try a Griots sprayer. Thanks.

I`d hope they are good, spendy little things.

I bough the Kwazar sprayers for the iron remover and wheel cleaner. Both are pretty thick. They were a definite no go.

GG, Kwazar, NextZett....sounds like a pump-up sprayer comparison oughta happen one of these days

Hard to tell what somebody else will prefer though, I recently got a Kwazar sprayer (just a regular one) that I thought I`d love but its thicker (than I`m used to) trigger keeps pinching me...NEVER thought something like that would be an issue for me, but it is.

Thank you . Was curious about these sprayers for wheels/tires.
Currently assembling a functioning W/T set-up. With foamers.
