    First Look: McKee`s 37 Trademark Poli-Coat Wax

    Product Description

"McKee`s 37 Trademark Poli-Coat Wax imparts a dazzling, 3-dimensional liquid shine that complements all colors. This easy on, easy off formula combines genuine Brazilian carnauba wax with super slippery synthetic polymers designed to provide a thick, glossy shell of protection that can withstand the harshest climates. A built-in bonding agent primes the surface for Trademark Poli-Coat Wax, enhancing gloss while creating a foundation for long-lasting paint protection. Trademark Poli-Coat Wax is effortless to apply and remove; apply a thin coat and allow to dry to a haze. One swipe with a clean, soft microfiber towel is all it takes to remove the wax, revealing mile-deep reflections that last months, not weeks."

NEW WAX! Now there is a saying that will get any car guys attention, When Nick handed me a bottle to play with I could not wait to get it on a car!

A good customer of mine brought in his very rare Lamborghini Jalpa (410 made) It was in for a multi-stage paint correction. As soon as the Lamborghini entered the shop I knew that it was going to get a coat of the new Trademark Poli-Coat Wax.

A full article will be posted of the Lamborghini detail, For now we will fast forward to the wax application! So let`s get started.

Following instructions I gave the bottle a good shake.

I began to pour some product on my Red Lake Country Red CCS Finishing Pad.

Trademark Poli-Coat has a thin consistency, However not alot of product is needed (more on that later)

I dabbed my pad across the panel I was going to work for smooth even coverage.

On a low speed with no pressure the Trademark Poli-Coat spread out nice and even across the panel.

Note: Only a few drops were needed to cover half of the hood.

Laying down a nice uniform coat.

After waxing the front fender and door here is what my pad looks like, You might think there is no wax on this pad. Actually there is enough wax on this pad to do that entire panel!

After you wax a few panels you do not have to add product as often, Notice how much wax is still on the pad!

Did I mention how nice it lays down?

After applying the wax to the entire vehicle wait 20-30 mins before buff off.

All hazed up and ready to buff off!

Wiping off is a dream, Barely any pressure is needed at all to remove the wax. This is one of the most important characteristics to me when applying a wax to a car you have been polishing for 4 days. A easy wipe off ensures that I am not going to scratch the perfect paint.

Buffing off the haze you reveal a deep rich shine!

Once you buff it off you will notice how the towel glides across the paint like skates on ice!

Trademark Poli-Coat leaves the paint slicker than ice.

    The Results!

Upon further testing I was actually very impressed with its water beading/sheeting characteristics, I will be making a article/video on that soon!

Here is a list of what makes Trademark Poli-Coat an Elite Wax.

    1. Smells Amazing.(Coconut Pina-Colada)
    2. Little product is needed.(One bottle will do easily do 50 cars)
    3. Effortless Buff Off.
    4. Leaves paint super slick.
    5. Offers great water beading/sheeting behavior.
    6. Leaves behind that carnauba glow we all love, without sacrificing durable protection.
    7. Reflections that will make a mirror envious!
