    Review: McKee`s 37 Sio2 Auto Wash | Create A Candy Gloss!

    McKee`s 37 Sio2 Auto Wash

    McKee`s 37 Product Description:

McKee’s 37 Sio2 Auto Wash was formulated for the unique cleaning requirements of vehicles that are coated with a paint, wheel, or glass coating. This thick, luxurious shampoo creates mountains of foamy suds that encapsulate dirt and grit particles, leaving behind an extremely glossy finish! You can confidently use McKee’s 37 Sio2 Auto Wash in direct sun because this pH-balanced, non-alkaline shampoo contains water-softeners that reduce spotting. Works equally well on non-coated vehicles as a gloss-enhancing auto wash. Your vehicle has never looked this good after a simple wash!

Sio2 Auto Wash gently cleanses your vehicle of dirt, grime, and road film without compromising the protection or water beading of your paint coating.
In fact, this sio2-enhanced formula fills in any microscopic fractures in the coating, restoring the gloss without altering the surface tension. Even though modern-day paint coatings exhibit a self-cleaning affect, you still need to properly maintain them using a manufacturer-approved auto wash!

    No More Water Spots!

Stop worrying about water spots! Instead of washing your vehicle one panel at a time and then rinsing it off, wash the ENTIRE vehicle using Sio2 Auto Wash and THEN perform your last and final rinse. This is made possible thanks to the non-alkaline, pH-balanced formula. Water, not auto wash, creates water spots! WARNING! Don’t try this with any other auto wash except McKee’s 37 Sio2 Auto Wash!

McKee’s 37 Sio2 Auto Wash is extremely concentrated. Just an ounce or two of this thick, watermelon-scented shampoo creates mounds of thick, frothy suds.

    Product Review

When I first got my hands on a bottle of McKee`s 37 Sio2 Auto Wash I was very anxious/excited to try it!

The next day A client dropped off his Dodge Ram 1500 to get detailed. This was the perfect truck to test the new Sio2 Auto Wash. Washing a truck this size in the hot Florida sun is a difficult task, It is very challenging to leave a water spot free surface do to the size of the truck. By the time you wash one side, The sun has already dried up the soap and water on the other side. This kind of has a dog chasing his tail effect. Sio2 Auto Wash is a shampoo specifically designed to eliminate the fear of water spots. So it is safe to say that washing a truck this size mid-day in the direct Florida sunlight is the ultimate test, So Let`s GET STARTED!

We are going to be adding some Sio2 Auto Wash in our Foam Gun, To SOAK the entire truck in the Sio2 Auto Wash.

    Note: Notice how
viscous the solution is, It is thick and smells like delicious watermelons! This is one of the best smelling shampoo`s I have ever had the pleasure of using.

A few shakes and the Sio2 Auto Wash takes over the foam gun reservoir.

    Let`s get this party started.

Sio2 Auto Wash smells amazing when foaming down the vehicle.

    Some nice frothy suds!

After foaming the entire truck down (I was in no rush) I added some Sio2 Auto Wash in my wash bucket.

The Sio2 Auto Wash transforms the water into a super slick and slippery solution, Lubrication is key when washing to prevent dragging abrasive dirt particles on your paint!

Did I mention how amazing this stuff smells?

At this point, I never rinsed off any soap solution off the truck. I took my time and went around the vehicle.

Here is a picture of the solution drying on the paint, Still no rinsing at this point.

The soap solution is starting to dry on the hood of the truck, At first glance you are going to want to focus on the remaining soap solution, However take a look at the areas with no soap, They look perfect, Remember we soaked the entire vehicle in foam, So every square-inch of this truck was submerged in foam solution. Look how well the soap solution actually dried on the paint!

The majority of soaps on the market at some point during the wash lose their "suds" However take a look at the Sio2 suds, The foam held up through out the entire wash process.

Ok, It is finally time to rinse.

This truck had 0 protection on it, No wax or sealant, After rinsing off the water slowly started to sheet off the paint. After the final rinse, I seen 0 water spots/marks on the paint, I Sprayed the truck with Hydro Blue and dried with a drying towel.

    After Shots

Not only did I have no water marks/spots anywhere on the truck, The truck looked bright and soaking wet.

As a professional detailer it is still difficult for me to wash a truck this size in direct sunlight and get no water spots, So Sio2 Auto Wash really does eliminate the fear of water spots/marks.

    Porsche 911

You might thinks this review is over it`s not.

It is now time to see how Sio2 Auto Wash does in a foam cannon!

Yet another tough task for Sio2 Auto Wash, 90+ Degrees in direct Florida sunlight on a dark colored vehicle.

    Let`s get started.

After adding the soap in my wash bucket, I agitated with a pressure washer to activate the suds!

Added 3oz of Sio2 Auto Wash to my foam cannon.

The 911 Is covered in a blanket of Sio2 Auto Wash.

    Slippery suds.

It was 90 degrees + outside, Time time around the soap dried much faster on the paint.

Soon After, I rinsed as normal and started to towel dry. No water marks in sight!

    After Shots

    Here are the results!

Sio2 Auto Wash is my new favorite shampoo, My favorite characteristic about this soap (beside that it smells excellent) Is how it takes the gloss on your your vehicles paint to a higher level.

This shampoo is like washing your car in detail spray, giving your paint that glow we all love. It leaves a nice candy gloss finish.

Sio2 Auto Wash is yet another McKee`s 37 product you need in your arsenal.

    Thanks for the review Joe.
Are you utilizing any type of water filter like a CR Spotless or is this just straight up hose water and the Sio2 auto wash? Is the water relatively hard where you are?
    Either way looks good.

    Great review.
Guess I should have ordered the 16oz to try. I did pass on it even at 25% off/free shipping. Getting late in the year. Outside washes will be coming to a end sooner than you think. My reason to go back to Hyper wash was just economical. 128oz of the new Sio2 soap would yield 32 washes for me. 2oz in the Griots bucket and 2oz in the foam gun. 128oz of Hyper wash would yield me 64 washes. 1oz in the bucket and 1oz in the gun. That was perfect in the past. Just the cheap side of me surfaced last order. LOL. I have no doubt the new Sio2 soap is outstanding. Everything I have and use from Mc Kees 37 is amazing. I am looking forward to using the new trim restorer.

Thanks for reading, No smoke and mirrors, I would never mislead my fellow detailers the wrong way.

Just normal hose water, No filters or anything of that sort.

The water is on the harder side. That is why in the majority of my articles or videos you see me washing the cars inside the shop.

I did not even use N914 as a water softener in this test.

No need for the negative comments, The only thing that matters is the results.

You are correct the McKee`s 37 products do get alot of rave reviews, and rightfully so. It is very tough to beat the performance and price of this line.

I understand this is not intended to be used if car has wax, how about if sealant is present?

Thanks Joe. I definitely was not trying to imply that you were misleading in anyway. I was just curious.

Same reason I do most of my washes waterless in the garage now. Here in Atlanta the county I live in i find the water to be on the hard side. Lots of water spotting if the car is not dried correctly and i get a lot of sun on the drive way during the day so I have to wash super early or closer to sunset.

Joe, If the soap does dry for a few minutes on the paint, and then you hit it with a rinse, It will not leave any residue on the finish Joe ? Thank You.
This sounds perfect for me when i wash. Also, the shine looks great from a wash !

It is not all that unusual for new products to take a little while to get added to the Autopia site. Not to worry though, if you want to order through Autopia just add a note in the comment box to add it to your order. I have done this many times with no issue.

Here is a link to the new Auto Wash product on AG. Simply reference the same product # in the comments and you`ll be good to go:

So just for transparency... you have no affiliation to McKee`s? Just curious why a member would post reviews of only one brand and watermark all of their photos with said brand name + web address.

If this is just a promo post endorsed by PBMG, great. Just share it as such. I don`t get how it`s a review though.
