Review: Poorboy`s World Super Slick & Foam Pre-Soak For Foam Gun or Foam Cannon

Poorboy`s World Super Slick & Foam Pre-Soak For Foam Gun or Foam Cannon

In the past, you needed a big gas pressure washer to get this kind of results out of a foam cannon.
I personally use the smallest Ryobi 1,600 PSI 1.2-GPM Electric Pressure Washer from Home Depot.
It is very small, it fits on my shelf and requires no maintenance. It`s only purpose is to wash cars.
If you want a pressure washer to clean your driveway, sidewalk and peel the paint off your walls...
This Ryobi Electric Pressure Washer is not for you. If you want to wash vehicles safely it works fine.

I could spend a lot of time extolling the virtues of this shampoo but I`ll let the videos do the talking...

I was asked...Is it thick? Does it cling? How long does it dwell? What is the scent? It smells like grape.

I did not use much. Whatever the directions were on the bottle. Modifications can be made (if needed)
I know we all like to work "outside the box" but the FIRST thing to try is what the manufacturer says.

wow that some good foam... I have a Greenworks 1800 1.1 and I think /i need to use more soap.. it does foam good, but not as thick.

car looked so clean before did you wash it? Was wondering if you just foamed and washed with the foam.. just now getting into the foam cannon frenzy lol

I believe the PW you have should be fine. I have used many different "foam" soaps.
I`m very happy with the PB Super Slick & Foam For Foam Gun/Foam Cannon shampoo.
I used it exactly as the directions stated on the bottle. It`s not about using "more" soap.
It`s about using the right soap designed to give you this kind of result. (It smells good too)

I did rinse it off first. After I saw the results...I had to make a video to show the performance!

On another note..I HATE the foam cannon on the end of a LONG STICK.
(see first video 21 seconds - Pressure Washer Gun)
I picked up a short handle for the PW hose and it`s MUCH easier to use.

I only have a sample bottle of the new stuff. No directions
hehe... I`ll try and work off my prior testing. That time, I used a foam *gun* and now I have a pressure washer, so I may need to tweak a bit.

Man this makes me want to get a pressure washer, much better foaming action than with a foam gun. That stuff looks extremely clingy, good job Poorboys!

Now that`s some shaving cream quality foam production there. Awesome results for sure. How is your water quality, I have well water as hard as the limestone in earth so I have trouble getting results like you have.

As I stated above I have the smallest baby Ryobi 1,600 PSI 1.2-GPM Electric Pressure Washer from Home Depot.
I`m lucky my water quality is very good. If you have hard "limestone" well water I suggest purchasing a filter.

I have the smallest Ryobi Electric Pressure Washer from Home Depot. It fits on my shelf when not in use.

It looks like spray insulation when it comes out. As you can see from the second video. It comes out thick!
It is thick? It clings? It has a long dwell time and it has a very pleasant grape smell (I call it goofy grape).

It has instantly become my favorite foam cannon shampoo and one of my favorite Poorboy`s products!

@Merlin, this thought popped into my mind: with that little Ryobi, how are you cleaning vehicles that are rather dirty, as in havn`t seen a full decon or LSP or even a good pressure wash in quite a while?

For me "vehicles that are rather dirty" is a different approach...however the PB Foam Pre-Soak would be a good start.
I am not a big fan of taking a high powered pressure washer to a dirty vehicle and pushing the dirt across the paint.
I would much rather "lift" the dirt off the paint and wipe with a shampoo with a lot of lubricity to gently wipe it away.
