The Mini is already a beast! I guess you can always make something better.. The Mini is an awesome polisher.

I`ve pondered the Katana for the Mini, will probably give it a shot someday. My only concern is that usually you`re jamming the Mini into smaller, more convoluted spaces and I`d hate to catch a body part with the spinning aluminum Katana plate...that would surely be a bit, uh, nasty to the finish. Likely not an issue for the Pro`s using it but sometimes it`s amateur hour at my place so, well, you know...know thyself and all.

Even the 5" Beast on the LHR15 Mk 2 leaves little room for error using microfiber pads, especially the Lake Country ones which are a bit smaller in diameter than the Megs Cutting discs.

I tested Kamikaze Beast briefly and i was surprised that it has actually a smaller diameter than Rupes backing plate. It works nicely with Megs mf pads, but not so sure about foam pads because it is smaller than pad and could cause pad to deform.

With the Rupes pads, runs like a dream! Kami backing plate, Sonax Perfect Finish, Yellow Rupes pad -= afternoon of enjoyment.

Anyone used Duetto with 3" beast? I would imagine it is more powerful combo than mini. I was thinking of getting 3" beast and the pneumatic lhr75 and selling my lhr75e mini.

I pondered the Kami plate for the LHR75 Mini...decided against it as the Mini tends to get used in a bunch of intricate places and it that spinning billet plate hits paint, it`s definitely gonna leave a big mark. If ya pay real close attention while using it, no issues but, well, "Know thyself..." and all; I`d likely do more damage than good!
