Astro SL200 Sunmatch vs DIY light (aka zach light)

Here is a quick review between a couple of lights I use. Shout out to zach for the idea of the DIY light

link to that video here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AjgdgwaQTMk&t

Took some photos and tried to keep the settings on manual (only changing the shutter speed). Video at the end of you want to hear me rambling on about lights (boring).

[Left to right, Astro light, DIY light.

    2 bulb DIY light

    Astro light on high setting

    Single bulb DIY light

    Astro light on low setting

both shows defects well. just depends on what paint color and if the surface is horizontal or vertical. i`ve really been using the astro light more since it has no wires attached.

    i like them both more

Ha. Clearly both lights work well. But not having one more extension cord to deal with/ trip over is a huge plus.

Great review. Thanks for taking the time.

Have you accidentally or purposefully tested the durability of the astro light? My Zach light has been knocked over many times and pretty much each time costs me $30-$80 depending on how many things break
