    PA invincible primer and more...

    not really a review...

    requires a little info...

the drivers door and fender were the subject of some tlc tonight

allow me to show you a short video clip I took last week when I was coating my trunk and drivers side rear quarter panel with csl+exo

not bad, yes, but I kept thinking I did that on the worst looking panel on my car (driver side door) which just has black hole and Wulfenite on it (terrible, I know-hah)

    the door closer

pretty swirled actually but i did a crappy job of showing it..either way you can take my word for it. it was non autopian for sure. i didn`t even plan to make this thread but turns out I had two hours to kill

anyways, i had to use a heavy cutting compound (p1) via duetto and mf cut disc to get it where i wanted it

you can see the line on the right and the lack of gloss present relative to the left side which was unpolished but got a dose of iron removal and claying yesterday and sat in garage since then

    then i looked at this

next I taped off a section and wanted to see if invincible primer would give me the gloss back

the bottle says can be used as compound or polish depending on pad selection, so I figured I`d give it a go on the rupes yellow pad which I know would have worked just fine with some other polishes but I was hoping for invincible primer asy 2nd step product, not third...

first thing I noticed is the thick consistency and a little goes a long way
    oh yea,it also smells fantastic!

and it definitely works just fine on the yellow pad after a cutting micro pass with heavy compound

    see...

    completed the rest

now for some cosmic v2 applied via duetto and carpro gloss pad
probably applied too thick but I didn`t even use much, but probably too much so i let it sit 40 mins

    first layer flashed and removed

now only 20 more minutes until i can apply the 2nd layer and wait another hour to apply cosmic, lol

im getting lots of random things done in the house while I wait

can`t wait to see the shine once its cured

took this right after I removed the first layer

edit:finally got 2nd layer on and cosmic spritz applied..there is a lot of waiting if you don`t do the entire vehicle at once

should be cured by the time I get home from work tomorrow. rest of car needs a rinse and gloss enhancer spray for a car meet Saturday

when I get home it`ll be past the 12 hour cure mark since I used the cosmic spritz-

should I top with more cosmic spritz, high gloss, or zirkon?

got a very large meet coming up Saturday with Mopars coming together from Houston, Dallas, and San Antonio to meet for a bbq cruise.

gotta have it looking tip top and hopefully I can book a few more jobs coming up

#NeedMorePA (I just need to buy some, period.)

From what you have posted before, the Gold Zirkon should bring out the metallic flake. Then RW with Flake at show/cruise? too much?

yea I actually have to leave for the show from work tomorrow so I have to take my car out of the garage at 630am and sit it at the office until 11am

I planned on taking to coin op after work to get some water behavior shots (and compare to the csl+exov3 on quarter) and then just use PA something as drying aid

will wipe down with spray and wipe at the show assuming I don`t have to park in a grass lot or something (there`s going to be (edit) a hundred mopars there and I`m showing up 3 hours late or more)

    haha

Netflix, hulu and amazon are about all I have- no cable tv for about 4 years now
I did watch the grand tour a few times while I was waiting for curing etc...damn that cosmic process is LOOONNGGG, but I could already see the shine difference once I added the first layer, and the second...yea,,lol
    then top it with cosmic-
    Yes, Please!

I`m thinking I may be able to do 3 or 4 challengers with one 50ml..that stuff spreads THIN
