Re: Review And Comparison: Carpro Hydro2 and Gyeon WetCoat

    I have all 3 - reset, hyr02 and hydrofoam.

For cleaning , reset is better neat than hydrofoam.

    thanks
I did this test a while back but there was a tad of overlap and that seemed to be all anyone focused on (although the results on the rest of the panel were the same as yours) but my experience over about 3 bottles of each product is the same as yours. I prefer hydro2lite over wetcoat.

Excellent review and a very nicely controlled test.

A little disappointed that Wet Coat didn`t sheet as fast, but it is what it is, right? Either way, both look like they protect well enough, but time will tell.

Thank you so much Angus! It was my pleasure to put together this review.

Give either products a shot. You won`t be disappointed with them. It makes the drying step a whole lot easier.

My pleasure Brandt. I remember your comparison review. I`m glad we both got the same results.

Thanks a lot Kevin! I appreciate it.

Yes, I had high hopes for WetCoat. It still works well but Hydro2 is just a tad better.

Re: Review And Comparison: Carpro Hydro2 and Gyeon WetCoat

Hydro foam seems to work best for me when I wash the car first with my normal soap (megs or 3D pink) then soap cannon with Hydrofoam and basically rewash. Kinda redundant I know but it seems to work best this way for me. I feel doing it that way gives me better coverage and more consistent beading and hopefully protection. When I use it as my only/primary soap it seems to be more streaky or blotchy areas seem to not bead as well, coverage seems compromised.

Trash. If you`re doing it that way, might as well Hydr02. More durable than foam
