we`ll see if this works...
parts of car were coated with CSL and topped with EXOv2 and v3 in certain areas
first test is vertical
flat panel now
edit:
CSL+EXOv2 vs CSL+EXOv3 (v2 topper on left- drivers side trunk lid)
CSL+EXOv3 only

Very nice. Looks like they both work very well side by side.

yes. I`m having a hard time telling them apart...I still think the exov2 is a little tighter but I also think the exov3 is a little slicker so perhaps they even themselves out
application wise- about the same,,, but v3 spreads a lot further than v2 (on top of csl) and v3 sits for longer on the paint (I guess that would be called flashing slower)
application temp was 67 in garage and probably next to nothing humidity
Wow, amazing reviews and sharing on all the CSL and Exo stuff. You have been a fountain of info and pics and videos on those products. Thank you so much its been huge help for me deciding what to try this spring. I may do my truck my self and have my car done by some one with a lot of experience with those same products.

I suppose this will be my official thread on updating about this combo
so here`s a vid I accidentally took today thinking I was taking a picture (hit the vid button instead on the phone)

i have cosmic v2 and csl+exo next to each other on my srt
its not even close
csl+exo by a landslide on beading but cosmic sheets a lot differently than the csl exo combo so its really a matter of what properties you`re looking for
cosmic v2 looks better IMO than csl+exo
4 month update
washed car
took a few bead shots from water left on vehicle after wash
afterwards i flooded the panels and they essentially rinsed clean
a couple observations of v2 vs v3 when on top of csl
v3 is noticeably darker, it tints the car more than v2..think 35% tint vs 20% tint on car windows
v3 has the 7h hardness compared to v2s 4h (i believe)...my splits show light marring on v2 topped areas but not v3 topped areas
v2 beads better but the difference is only noticeable if youve played with them as long as I have...its a 3-5 degree contact angle but I tell the difference, guess I`m just crazy like that
video of trunk, csl+exov2 left half...csl+exov3 right side

Cool vid
Formerly the "Best Detailer", now just Super Wax Waster Man. Not necessarily tactful, but normally right. It`s good to be da King !!!Post Thanks / Like - 1 Likes, 0 Thanks, 0 Dislikes512detail liked this post
No kidding...that is some unreal sheeting. Gonna have to try that.
Have to say though that the self cleaning abilities of CSL alone leave me kinda unimpressed. The vehicle I used it on was good at staying clean with no attention for about 1.5 months (probably when the c2v3 I topped it with wore off) but after that it was among the poorest after a recent rainstorm than the other coatings I used. The Evo v3 looks like the real deal though...that is amazing sheeting.
FWIW, topped the CSL vehicle hood with Overcoat...we`ll see if it comes back to life a bit and for how long.

my Holy Sheet thread has me a little spoiled, but I did observe csl needing a decon wash on my daily driver (maintained the autopian way, mind you) after about 5 months....and, well I could get into a lot of details but all that info is in my other active thread comparing those, along with my speculations as to why it is doing what it is doing....but either way.....when you put EXO on top of CSL...holy SHEET..for real....
and keep in mind I have this next to cosmic v2..which is no slouch, and I still think cosmic v2 looks better...but once the water hits the surface...the difference is laughable, seriously
