so if I were to do CSL EXOv2 combo, what should I polish with underneath? I have essence but it seems like it may not be a good idea? i have Zaino AOI I could try. Or just stick with essence?

out of those two I`d go with essence for sure

if you have any non silica based polishes (non primer polishes) I`d recommend them. ZAIO is not gonna do much unless you apply it with a sanding disc, lol

    but seriously don`t do that

Re: Holy sheet: EXO v CSL v CSL w/EXO - A longevity test

    ●○●update●○●
been a while, had to go digging through my phone for these
good thing I keep records, somewhat, i guess

so at 5.6.17 I noticed mckees si02 spray was not really beading up nicely anymore so in a moment of canadian whiskey filled madness I added reload to my hood on a whim later that evening as the sun was setting.

    6.13.17 next wash 2bm pblv2 soap

    rinse pics

    csl+exov2 side

    csl middle

    exov3 passenger side

6.13.17-after 2bm wash with pbl v2 shampoo, this with the reload topper I applied about a month before

6.13.17 immediately after that vid, I got a bright idea to do a decon wash on the hood with pb iron

    csl+exov2

    csl

    exov2

6.13.17-this was after the poorboys iron removal step where i sprayed it heavily and let it dwell for 5 minutes and then wiped it in and rinsed it off and washed again with pbl shampoo

6.13.17 immediately afterwards I was testing bathe+ and pa gloss coat shampoo and I put the pa shampoo on the hood

    csl+exov2

    csl

    exov2

6.13.17-this was after the pa gloss coat shampoo was used on the hood

    ●next wash 7.29.17 2bm pb sss
7.29.17- 2bm wash pb sss, pa gloss coat shampoo still seems to be helping

im thinking of doing pa cosmic spritz or high gloss on the hood and passenger side coatings since the truck is in the garage as I get ready to play with some of the drivers side Holy sheet: EXO v CSL v CSL w/EXO - A longevity test

Have you still got this on the hood?
I have read about if you do treat the coatings with carpro Spotless or something like that. You can revive the coating a bit. And maybe ad a decon wash with a tar remover also and a strong diluted apc. Then do a wash with a neutral car soap to get any residue of decon away.
The thought of that with Spotless is to get the mineral deposits of the coating. Since they are hard to get of with anything else.
Really fun and intresting to read about your testing. And it`s well written and pictures and videos are great!

yes its still on three and I have, I believe, two updates to post since the last...I have just been ridiculously busy and it takes me a long time to post these. I will try to get it back to current this weekend. I have only washed my truck once in the last 2+ months.

the entire truck is covered in different coatings.. there`s a holy sheet part II that covers the hood and driver side

Re: Holy sheet: EXO v CSL v CSL w/EXO - A longevity test

The passenger side seems to be doing perfectly fine. I have never done any recon washes but have randomly topped it at the same time I topped the hood test.

I haven`t kept that close of documentation for this side/test but I do regularly check it.

Here is an update since it seems to be holding up just fine.

    Quick recap:
Csl on passenger bed, with + c2v3 on part of bed

Rear pass door is 50/50 pbl vs csl

Fr pass door is all csl with half topped with 3 seperate dual layers of exov2 three hours apart

Frt drivers fender hsd exov2 x2, i added another dual layer (later added more layers)

    This was applied 9.1.16
This is roughly 1year 3 months and 3 weeks

    Great tests and updates!

I purchased CSL+Exo4 awhile ago and never got to putting it on my car. Now cars have changed and I`m in a Civic daily temporarily.

Wonder how long they last when note opened... lol

I have had bottles last over a year unopened at room temp. Shake well and inspect for glass like shards floating which is a no go.
