Re: Holy sheet: EXO v CSL v CSL w/EXO - A longevity test

Csl on passenger bed, with + c2v3 on part of bed

Rear pass door is 50/50 pbl vs csl

Fr pass door is all csl with half topped with 3 seperate dual layers of exov2 three hours apart

Frt drivers fender hsd exov2 x2, i added another dual layer

csl on all side of the pass bed, added c2v3 on right side- noticeable darkening effect even at 8am

Tailgate got all csl, taped off lower section under the nissan logo and added cure on left (drivers) side and c2v3 on other..both added 24 hrs after csl applied for fairness sake

panel wipe then c2v3 on entire drivers side (laziness)

fuzion spray wax on roof (laziness)

the initial experiment still in tact.can notice in low light, the shade dofferences from the 3 products but cant photo it with my camera phone

Re: Holy sheet: EXO v CSL v CSL w/EXO - A longevity test

Just a quick update- It has only been washed twice, period. Once with P101 shampoo before I coated the rest of the passenger side and c2v3 only on driver side.

It`s been about two weeks since I put all the products above on the truck

In those two weeks the truck has only been rinsed with high pressure soap/water once. (about a week ago) and then I drove off and came back to the coin op and wiped it down with a WW towel and Spray and Gloss- vehicle was almost clean already but the lower panels needed a little bit of help from the cleaning properties of Spray and Gloss

this truck has also been through three rain storms before that time and it BARELY gets dirty. it`s kind of nice, actually

I plan to wash it again this evening as its supposed to rain the rest of the week and I kind of like seeing all the different beads on the truck.

I think I`m gonna wash it with something that has some wax in it for that added wax depth.

I took a few videos of the wash but its nothing that I haven`t posted before- but the fun part was seeing the multiple layers of EXOv2 on the passenger fender just shed off water like a madman, lol

The CSL w C2V3 is PHENOMENAL- almost as good as the CSL w EXO on top .. considering the ease of applying the CSL + C2V3 (spray), its definitely going to be my 1-2 punch with CSL from now on.

Hell, even the C2v3 side alone offers some pretty intense water behavior and shedding ability. there are just tiny little dirt beads with trail marks down the sides of my truck indicating they were dashing across the surface quite a ways

Did you notice a change in hydrophobic properties using it over Exo?

Now that i think about it, i actually have no c2v3 on the exo areas. I will edit that

the exo areas are just exo

I definitely noticed a change on top of the csl!

Re: Holy sheet: EXO v CSL v CSL w/EXO - A longevity test

this truck does not want to get dirty

it does not stay very dirty

    I like!

drove in the rain again today..the rain just cleaned off the hood, that`s about all- lol

sides were not very dirty either

the PBLv2 vs CSL side - you can CLEARLY see how much better CSL is at shedding things as opposed to PBLv2 - its night and day difference - CSL side is almost clean - PBL - dirt marks on it

When you take your road trip to Detailer`s Fest, I hope you make a wrong turn and end up in my neck of the woods. Then, you can do my car.

I want my car to stay cleaner, and for longer!

    And thanks for the update

Re: Holy sheet: EXO v CSL v CSL w/EXO - A longevity test

I left a small bird bomb on the hood for about 6 days (the CSL only middle) baking in the sun

I wiped it off with a Kleenex just a few mins ago, came off like butter!

    no mark either- nice
