As far at Exo being hard to apply if you give me some detail I might be able to help. I have 5 Exo installs under my belt and I`d call them all successful. If I miss a high spot in the first hour I can usually wipe it out with a Exo wet applicator followed by a dry mf wipe. I move slow applying a coating as I hate re work.
    Things I want
I`m going to the dollar store this weekend to buy my car care products for the bubba test.. haha - mitts, towels...great quality stuff there, lol

as far as the sanding off.. that is ONLY for CS (regular) ... fresh csl high spots came off with my Nano and a yellow pad with essence on speed 4

I let a high spot sit for 24 hours or so (on accident) and it required the rupes blue pad on the nano with pro polish 2 (just had it handy from doing tail lights)

as far as the EXO... here`s what worked pretty well for me

carpro applicator block with suede cloth over it
dabbed a generous amount of product per Gtechs recommendations after I called with my application woes of EXO

first coat on the far left side went on great, im wiping down, then opposite direction and then immediately wiping off, flip towel, then new towel, then flip new towel. then final micro suede cloth wipe
(did the whole 1/3 section taped off in one go)

the 2nd coat of EXO on the EXO only side left a slight smear but I couldn`t see it today in the sun when I looked at the hood - GTECH told me that sometimes the slight hazing wears off after a few hours- maybe that happened here..i`ll have to put it under my LED lights in garage to tell for sure

I have never tried their applicator sponge, seems like it would just soak up a lot of product

The method I used there with the EXO, it seems to be using a lot of product.. a lot more than with CSL that is for sure

    12 day update
    Have not touched the hood
No qd, no ww no rw no wash
    Rained several times

It was wet this am so I took these filthy hood beads

    EXOv2 x2

    csl

    csl + EXOv2 x2

The combo side still sprints water off the hood, even today during the drive home in the rain.

Re: Holy sheet: EXO v CSL v CSL w/EXO - A longevity test

on the tailgate with csl im thinking a csl topper test of
    Cure
    C2V3
    PBL coating booster
and,, (looks around for Ron...then clears throat) Reload

and leaving a control of course

its gotta be four products plus the control- and they`re all gonna be sprays too- so that`s about what I got to choose from

    Brandt,

Video is embedded in my post above.

To embed a video, click the "insert video" button (2nd from the right most button or 5th one to the right of the smiley button). It will then ask you for the link of the youtube video... You can`t use the shortened URL link you posted. You need the full youtube link... This is the web address of the video after you`ve clicked it. So once it`s now the video you`re watching, just copy the entire web address found in the address bar of your browser.

For your video, it`s "https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rLgkGhhcAFc". You can`t use "https://youtu.be/rLgkGhhcAFc" because that doesn`t work.

Re: Holy sheet: EXO v CSL v CSL w/EXO - A longevity test

once I have a little bit of csl left from the next Helcat I do- I will be coating the drivers side of the bed for a EXO topping showdown (zaino layer style- haha)

does 5 coats of Exo on top of CSL play better than 7 or 8 ? well that`s something I`m curious to find out (and I just realized I wrote that backwards-ha)
