I personally love CSL by itself or with Quartz Max or Cosmic Spritz.
The idea of having to apply another coating over a coating is something I don`t really care for.

Nice work! Look at how the CSL acts as a boost when you apply EXO on top of it, compared to just Essence + EXO. The differing surfaces that the base leaves behind can have a significant impact on how the total surface behaves when you apply your LSP over it. The quest is to discover the best base that`s going to give us the most "performance" out of our LSP (performance for me being a higher surface tension lasting over a longer period of time).

Okay so update number 1:
Rained decently while at work.
that was hood before I drove home from work (33 mile trip)
That a hole always parks so crappy!!!! I`m at the far end of the lot by god, haha
I then drove home in almost all types of rain one would typically encounter in a given Year here where I live.
Started from work with no rain. 10 minites later see a cloud that makes do you think man I hope I`m not under that soon. And guess what? I drove right into it.
A heavy rain followed by an absolute torrential downpour I`m talking wipers on high going 10-15 miles an hour on interstate, the whole shebang. Flooded winshield at 15 mph. Had to actually use the wipers bad.
Here is my experience as well as I can immediately recall...
From what I could see the csl w exo side which was immediately in front of my vision, on purpose ; ) was behaving like something I have never witnessed before.
I`ve posted about my obsession with beads before. So far this is combo performs like nothing I have witnessed before. Second has to go to when I freshly applied Synergy to 6 month old Pblv1 on the same truck
Or think freshly applied fk1000p on top of essence...on blue sky (from Breaking Bad), lol
I know the CSL sheets wonderfully alone, but that takes a lot of weight from the water for that sheeting to really get activate, or wind speed. Csl w exo side was blowing moderate rain right off, at alarming velocity as well.
Tiny marbled beads dancing dramatically with deliberate intentions of evacuating the surface as quickly as possible. It was a pleasurably rewarding experience to see what this does with real rain so quickly...literally the next day.
The csl, was waiting for another big bead to hit the other and gain momentum.
All the while, I was driving 40 mph, lol.
Then hit a 55mph stretch of road towards the interstate. Moderate to heavy rain is what I drove into.
https://youtu.be/9YIwyYI5QKI
Pbl glass coating at 1.5+ yrs sprayed once a month with opt glass cleaner and protectant (resprayed with that last night actually)
Same rain at 55-60 speed and the csl beads gained speed but so did the csl + exo beads
Then the torrential rain hit.
I was able to see the exo only side a little bit and it appeared quite impressive in itself as well but not nearly as impressive as csl w exo.
It seems with the csl base coat, the exo can Really do it`s thing.
Took this pic once I got home. one hard right turn to get into my neighborhood to cheat and push some of the csl beads onto the csl w exo side
a.bead. and two water spots that wiped right off. Only on the csl only middle.
Color me impressed.
thats all for now
Im going to try to enjoy my first evening off in several weeks.

It should have pretty much cleaned itself with the drive in hard rain.
Formerly the "Best Detailer", now just Super Wax Waster Man. Not necessarily tactful, but normally right. It`s good to be da King !!!
I`m putting that in my cart right now. Yisrael from gtechniq said it would be a good topper for clients and I can use it myself as drying aid once diluted. Acc says out but ag isnt so hoping Ray can find me a bottle, or two
i don`t think i could really sell the exo as a topper due to costs...id have to charge a lot more than I could probably get

Normally been dirty? Yea i guess, it does sit outside. Hard rain can clean other lsps too.
on day 1 i can`t really test its cleaning ability, not till i get to the bubba testing phase, lol.
Unlike you lucky palm tree folks, we don`t usually get a lot of rain here.
I was able to see how it performs on day 1 vs mother nature.
I`m just impressed. That`s all.
The money we charge our clients (and I`m cheap anyways)...I think its nice to see essentially what they`re getting.
Maybe I`m just odd. But I think we are a collection of relatively odd people in general, lol.

I think they all look amazing. I`m a big Exo fan. Love the thigh beads. The wet Sanding out mistakes has scared me away from csl but your video makes me want to try it.
As far at Exo being hard to apply if you give me some detail I might be able to help. I have 5 Exo installs under my belt and I`d call them all successful. If I miss a high spot in the first hour I can usually wipe it out with a Exo wet applicator followed by a dry mf wipe. I move slow applying a coating as I hate re work.
I`m always looking for the highest level or mar protection, with the. Best self cleaning , tight beads that will last the longest between applications , that`s easy to apply and shines like crazy. That`s what I`m chasing.
Things I want
c2v3 has nice beading, a bright look but it doesnt work for me as a drying aid. Its pretty grabby until it flashes off then its really slick. It doesnt enhance trim at all either, has no effect on it at all. I didnt try diluting it, not sure if that would make it more workable as a drying aid or not.
