    Kwazar Venus Pro Foamer Review

Kwazar Venus Pro Super Foamer Review

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vjX5mXxIHyY - video 2

I bought this to replace my foam gun because I got tired of changing my hose nozzles to use something for 5 minutes, just to have to go back and switch nozzles again. The nozzle I like to use is an adjustable garden sprayer with about 6 different outputs so I’m used to using one output for rinse, another output to blast away dirt, etc. Plus, the freedom from a hose is just wonderful. No more dragging a hose back and forth as you presoak a car is awesome.

And as I mentioned in another post, I don’t like the hassle of setting up my foam cannon when I’m really only going to use it for a presoak.

So I did a bit of research and discovered the Kwazar Venus Pro Super Foamer. Luckily Autopia was having their Memorial Day sale so I got it for cheaper and didn’t feel too guilty about buying it.

It comes in a 2 liter size and seems sturdy and well-constructed. I like the ‘cone’ shape of it as there is no risk of it tipping over.

I was worried it may be kind of heavy when it was filled, but it’s comfortable to hold and not a strain on my wrists or anything.

Foam output is totally dependent on the soap and dilution ratio. For this review I used Dodo Juice Apple iFoam wash, a soap designed for presoaks. Even though it was diluted 20:1 the foam output was nice and clung around for a few minutes, similar to a foam gun & cannon.

To work the Foamer, you need to pump the pump until the pressure for about 10 seconds or so to build up pressure. Squeeze the handle and out comes the foam. The fuller the sprayer is the less pumps you’ll be able to do. I have had a little issues with some pressure leaking out of the screw top when the unit is more full, so filling this to the top (or 2L mark) may not be the best idea for maximum output.

The more pressure inside, the longer it’ll last. Pumping for a few seconds gives you enough coverage for a panel IME.

1.5 – 2L is plenty for a regular sedan/coupe. You may need to refill it for a larger SUV.

There really isn’t much else to say about the Foamer. It works, I love it, and I’m glad I purchased it. I’ve experimented with just trying water in the sprayer, but it doesn’t work. The water isn’t a constant stream. I was curious to see if this could be suggested for completely mobile guys who still want access to foam, but that doesn’t seem to be the case. Someone on reddit pointed out that it`s a good choice for those that need to wash at self-serve stations. I hadn`t thought of that, but it makes sense!

    Pros:

    Works well, easy to use

    Foam output is great

    Comfortable to hold

    No hose!

    Cons:

Too much pressure can cause leaks

    Thanks for looking/reading!

Used this at 20:1. Great presoak soap!

Thanks for the review. This will be a great option for someone like me with low water pressure due to a well.

Awesome review! I was just thinking the other day that I should have a sprayer dedicated for bugs since most of the cars I detail here have their front bumpers caked with bug guts. A presoak with a bug remover like PB Bug Squash or even a shampoo with McKee`s 37 Road Kill would be the perfect start for a detail. Thanks for sharing!

I have a pump sprayer loaded with Bug Squash. It works soooo well for presoaking, especially with neglected cars. I spend zero time doing any kind of scrubbing of bugs/grime.

Thanks guys! I`m going to have to experiment with a bug remover in it like Ray and Heisenberg say. It`s definitely a fun tool to have!

cf2121, Just a thought, I`ve been using one of these for about a year. I really like it. For certain jobs, it`s just the right tool. This said, I`ve never had any problem with mine "leaking" pressure. It does have the blow off/pressure release valve on top and if you get one pump too many it will vent pressure but that should be an all or nothing deal. If yours is bleeding down perhaps it`s defective and needs to be warrantied.

I`ll play around with it more and see how it reacts. It seems to leak pressure from where the top screws to the bottle. You can actually see it in the first video I posted above. Let me know what you think on that. Thanks!

Yeah, it shouldn`t leak there or at least mine never has. I often give mine one too many pumps and have the valve blow off but even then I can usually get say 20 pumps in a full bottle before that happens. If it`s leaking out the threads I think I`d call in on it. Mine doesn`t have any issue like that, it will literally hold pressure for weeks.

Yeah I can get about 4 pumps in a full bottle before it starts leaking. Guess I need to contact Kwazar!
