    Review: Kenotek Showroom Shine

    Review: Kenotek Showroom Shine

Not too long ago I got to try out a product from the newest line Autopia-Carcare.com is carrying: Kenotek Showroom Shine.

    The test subject:
One Dusty `05 Mazdaspeed Miata which has been subjected to a few days of pollen and dust from a project I was working on while it was in the garage. The Miata was coated with Wolfgang Uber Ceramic Coating a few months ago, so I was looking for a detailer that would play well with a coating. Showroom Shine is an anti-static detailer with Nano-Protection agents designed to boost gloss and protection, the anti-static nature helps prevent dust and dirt from sticking to the surface.

Something that immediately stood out was the sprayers. While most spray nozzles twist to unlock, these sprayers have an unique flip-down locking mechanism, as demonstrated here:

Maybe I`m easy to impress, but I thought the sprayers were cool.

Here`s the filthy surface that I started with:

This is not how Autopians are supposed to keep their paintwork, shame on me!
    Enter Kenotek Showroom Shine.

That fancy spray nozzle? It does an awesome job at misting the product on the vehicle`s surface with minimal effort.

Gold Plush JR Microfiber towels to the rescue! These are my favorite MFs for detailers, the thick pile helps pull the gunk off the paint while still being gentle enough not to mar the surface.

Afterwards the paintwork was as smooth as silk:

    My `Merlin` shot:

The next day the car looked just as good as the night before. No dust, pollen, or dirt was on the surface, verfying the product`s anti-static nature. Overall I was very impressed with this product and how well it cleaned and the gloss it left behind on my coated paint.

Here are a few more shots in the sun:

    Look at that flake!

Thanks Marc08EX, The Guz, WaxAddict thanked for this post

Excellent review! I`ve used it as a drying aid and it was very good for that, too. Left a very slick and good looking finish.

Their polish and wax looks interesting. A lot like McKees jeweling wax. Paul at detailers domain uses kenotek showroom shine on every detail.

Very nice review Paul! Well written and very nice photos. Thanks for sharing.

More importantly, your Miata looks sick! I`m loving the stance and the wheels. Paint looks shiny too!

The past few weeks have really shown me how important anti-static properties are for car care products. There`s nothing worse than finishing a detail job, then noticing particles clinging themselves to the paint or glass. Good to hear this product doesn`t do that!

It`s a small detail but makes a big difference, it`s honestly the 1st thing you notice with any of their products.

Thanks Ray, anti-static properties have been awesome this spring in helping keep the pollen in check.

    Review: Kenotek Showroom Shine

I think I`m officially a detailing dinosaur old fart. I don`t care about new stuff like this anymore. I`ll just stick with the old stand by`s:

    1. FK 425

    2. Prima Slick

    3. PB`s S & G

    Etc...

Latest and the greatest. I`m going to try the QD, but I watched the demos of the other products and he looks like he is cleaning a clean car. I want to see Florida insects melt! Plus I`m never going to apply an AIO by hand.

Nice review, thanks. The anti-static properties sound very promising. I love your Miata, my favorite generation. Although I wouldn`t mind trying out a 2016 Miata.

Another dinosaur autopian <_< I tried it when this first came out and like in my other post I am a QD addict but I came back to FK425. After over 2000 reward points here at autopia I think I have found my groove

As always Paul thanks for reviews
