that then hydrofoam or hydro2 and what a quick detail!
I bet PJ would argue a hand applied carnauba wax with relaxing music would be best

I would have to agree personally with the hand applied wax and music...But i was considering how quickly one could do a decon clay and wash seal on a car not needing correction .. one would only need two products plus clay mitt/bar

as i say, there are many ways to get the job done 8) for me, the tactility of the process of applying a paste wax by hand just reinforces my own sense of accomplishment. in my detail process, the wash and prep stages will always take longer than the protection stage. it is in these two first stages that the work is really done. then you get to inspect every inch of work you have done. note that you can feel places you might have missed or not completely finished. additionally you have to be physically closer to the paint as you go round, arms-length in fact, allowing better inspection of the entire surface.

so for me, i enjoy some toonz and a good paste wax applied directly to the paint by hand - it is preference not a disclaimer against other protection methods nor product types. currently i am also really enjoying our wet or dry applied spray sealant. i have a tree over my parking space which at this time of year has a few birds that congregate on a nightly basis to foul my car... every damn night/morning. bring it into the office and it gets pressure washed and then, without drying, a nice top up with Future Armour. drying and topping up at the same time - easy peasy for such frequent wash downs.

on some of the Hybrid Nano waxes there is a slight surface caused by the crystaline nano ingredients airing out on top. simply press through this surface and mix with the wax underneath for a smoother soft wax application 8)

(i had to resort to other means (i.e. a spoon)

That does not work. Its like a stone. I tried every different applicator i had at the time. the dodo applicator faired best but even with vigorous rubbing of the top layer, i would only end up barely getting any on the applicator.

I love this wax but its quite a pita to get on the applicator

this is definitely odd, as i have not heard of any getting as hard as you describe. has it been exposed to exaggerated heat? it is a wax that is harder than our normal soft waxes but it is still spreadable.

as a bit off a test, please take a teaspoon and using the back of the spoon, scrape off a couple of millimeters of wax off the top of one side of the wax. see if whats under is more pliable. let me know here, or on email if you want quicker reply as there is a good 6-9 hour time difference. pj at dodojuice dot com

thanks. I will try that tonight.. im not saying I have in fact received a defective jar but I am saying this is the hardest wax I have ever encountered. perhaps there is an issue. I don`t know. all I know is its miserable to work with,,but produces some of the best looking beads I`ve seen and I was hoping this would be my cheaper replacement for synergy to top essence with on one steps
