    Poorboys Tornado and Typhoon

    We will start with Tornado.

I mixed 2oz of product w/ 4 gallons of warm water in a bucket. After every pad was full of polish, i would just toss it in the bucket and move to the next pad. Tornado has the usual cleaner scent, a little citrus smell IMO.

    Next is Typhoon.

I had a total of 30-35 towels but I still ended up using 2oz instead of 4oz. I was surprised that the product had a scent because most MF cleaners I have used are fragrant free. Scent reminds me of cologne called Cool Water, lol. When taking the towels out after cleaning, they only had a very slight hint of fragrance smell.

Excellent review! I used Tornado the other day and really liked it. I haven`t had a chance to use Typhoon yet. I hope it becomes available in 5 gallon jugs.

the clean up is the most grueling part. i had to find a simple process. i spin them on my PC after a few squeezes and they sit on a rack after that

I`m still doing mine by hand. Tried machine washing when I first got into detailing, didn`t care for the result. But hand washing takes time. ugh.

Make a pad washer: DIY Pad Washer

It is super easy to make. The only problem I had was making the lid.

i use to do the same thing. brought them inside the house and washing them by hand in the sink. APC smell everywhere, hands get all dried out from using products, scrubbing and agitating. it sucked.

i find it easier to just stock up on pads and throw them in the bucket once im done. sometimes i get done real late at night and too lazy to rinse them out, next day i can take them out of the bucket and itll be just as easy to clean.
