    Griots black shine trim restorer

After a non intended full detail friday, I broke out the griots black shine trim restorer. And sadly the xterra has more trim then a bad night in jail. It is a dense white cream. The included orange applicator is the bomb! Its a dense foam and the shape of it makes it PERFECT for trim duty. They can be purchased alone in the AG store. BUY THESE! Application went ok. Like any other trim product i have used. Some places were a bit streaky looking. To be fair i did not strip or use any pre cleaner on the trim. The instructions do not state otherwise beside a good cleaning. Dry to the touch in min. And fully bonds in 8 or more hours. This morning i did notice some run off on the paint around the side mirrors and door handles. But the next wash of course will take care of this. OVERALL a good look. If it lasts a good while it will be a bonus. My judgement is 50/50 on it.

UPDATE 4/4 We had some rain, and the trim is really beading up. So this is a good thing.

Wanted to bump this. My bottle is just about done. This product really does perform. No streaks after rain, love the included applicator, and it really does last.

How long does the application last before it looks faded again? The Jeep has some plastic trim that looks terrible, and what I`ve used so far makes it look worse after the rain.

Nizmo- Ever tried prepping with Griot`s Rubber Prep and then using Ultima`s Tire & Trim Guard Plus?
