Had a water pump let go on my 2000 Grand Prix GT a couple months ago and when it did it sprayed coolant and created a mess under the hood. I got it fixed but neglected to give the bay a thorough cleaning.
Fast forward to this afternoon. I was giving it a maintenance wash and decided after reading Harris300 review I would try out the Mckees 37 engine degreaser.
Here are some before pics.
Following the instructions I sprayed the engine with a little bit of water then began misting down the bay with degreaser. After letting it work in I agitated with various brushes.
One thing I really liked is that even though it`s a powerful cleaner it didn`t harm the single stage paint in the jambs of the bay. Also it doesn`t seem to have a harsh smell.
It cut through the grime and left a clean surface.
After drying I dressed it with some hyper dressing.
Thanks for reading!
