Secret Santa Gift Review - Uber Rinseless and PB Spray and Rinse

Got the following for Secret Santa and had a chance to try them out today. TL;DR, they`re great products!

I do solely rinseless and waterless washes now and have been hearing great things about the Uber so I was excited to try it out. First, started with the wheels. I normally just use the leftover rinseless solution and a few throw-away towels to clean the wheels but now I had the Poorboy`s Spray and Rinse. Directions are to start out with cool to the touch wheels, rinse with water, spray, let dwell for few minutes and rinse just like the product name says. Very easy. The bottle came with a nice Tolco chemical resistant sprayer and I like the bottle design, you can just throw on any sprayer and it`ll fit. Product had a pretty strong chemical citrus smell. Doesn`t color change like Full Effect but also didn`t stain my driveway, which my wife hated with Full Effect. Overall worked pretty well, it didn`t take off all the brake dust and grime and for really dirty wheels you`ll need some agitation but I don`t need perfect looking wheels. Plus the whole process was so fast it`s a real time saver. After rinsing, pulled in the garage and sprayed some Uber at waterless wash dilution and wiped with a MF towel. Came out pretty good and I only needed one towel.

Usually I need 3-4 towels to clean all wheels and they come out so filthy I need to throw them away but Spray and Rinse did the heavy lifting of the cleaning I only needed one towel. Uber also has some pretty impressive cleaning ability, I was able to still get a good amount of dust and grime off. Also cleaned the tires pretty well and left a nice matte finish.

Now on to Uber Rinseless. I had high expectations from all the good reviews I`ve read and I was already pretty happy with ONRWW, my current rinseless wash. Well I have to admit the hype is real, this stuff is awesome. It is just so slick all the time, during the washing phase, drying phase and the finish left behind. Just slickness everywhere. It just gives you so much more confidence and assurance when wiping. ONRWW can be a little grabby during the drying phase and the finish left behind is nowhere near as slick. Gloss and appearance-wise probably about the same but the most impressive thing was the slickness. I also tested it at waterless wash dilution and I`d say the cleaning ability and slickness are on-par with Meguiars D115, my current favorite waterless wash. D115 lovers you need to try Uber Rinseless. Dilution ratio is so much better at 1:48. I use D115 at 1:8.

    All finished:

Dat gloss. Only LSP on the car is Optimum Car Wax and whatever ONRWW and D115 gets left behind during my washes.

I also want to comment on two smaller aspects: smell and media staining. Uber smells like really artificial cherry. Kinda like really cheap cherry candy you get at a gas station or something. While not the best smell, it`s not too overpowering when diluted to rinseless wash dilution and there isn`t much lingering smell. I do washes in the garage and with ONRWW, there`s a very characteristic plant-like smell to ONR that lingers for days. D115`s scent, while pleasant, also is pretty strong and lingers for days. I even smell it in my towels after a good wash. I was pleasantly surprised to find that Uber doesn`t stink up the garage, doesn`t seem to stain media in appearance or smell. Here are my blue towels post-wash. They`re still blue.

Not sure what I like more, the review or your car! I like reading others thoughts on the smell of detailing products. It`s a variable I`d like to hear from every review whether it`s a rinseless wash or compound. I avoid certain products just because of how they smell, and reading your thoughts highlighted a variable that wouldn`t be the first thing that came to mind when selecting a rinseless wash.

Wolfgang Uber Rinseless Wash is what happens when someone who`s passionate about a product category, decides to make their own stamp on that very product category. Props to Nick@AG for demanding such slickness!

As in as slick as a cow bell?
