Polish Angel Glasscoat Cosmic and Master Sealant Side by Side Review!

I decided to use more of the Polish Angel products after I had such good luck with the Polish Angel Charisma Leather Conditioner.

I started with the Master Sealant and the Polish Angel Esclate Lotion on the right side of the hood:

I used the Esclate Lotion to prep the surface before I applied the Master Sealant. I noticed that it did smell like Cherry Dr. Pepper, or Cherry Coke, and I little bit of product goes a long way. Also it was extremely easy to wipe off, and it left no streaking.

After all the product was wiped off:

Now the Master Sealant was applied:

Again, a little goes a long way it spread out very thin. I followed the instructions and let it sit for about 15 minutes before I wiped it off:

    After:

Next up was the Polish Angel Invincible Primer to prep for the Cosmic Coating:

Again this product smelled like the Esclate Lotion smell of Cherry Dr. Pepper, except it wasn`t as strong. It spreads out very thin, and was very easy to wipe off:
    After:

I then applied the Polish Angel Glasscoat Cosmic:

I was a little surprised on how this coating was applied. It wasn`t like a regular coating that flashes and needs to be wiped off immediately. It was more like a sealant/liquid wax. I only used about a dime sized drop on the applicator and it covered the whole hood. I followed the instructions and let it sit for 30 minutes and then I wiped off the product effortlessly.

One wipe and the haze comes right off:

    After pictures:

I couldn`t really tell the difference of the sealant and coating, as far as looks, on either side of the hood, but I could definitely see the difference in the gloss from where the tape line was. I really enjoyed using all the products. All spread out very thin and were super easy to wipe off. The products cleared up the paint, and gave a nice, deep, wet look. Updates will come soon on water beading/sheeting.

    Products used:
    Polish Angel Glasscoat Cosmic
    Polish Angel Master Sealant
    Polish Angel Esclate Lotion
    Polish Angel Glasscoat Invincible Primer

    Cool ! Thank you!!!

The polish Angel coating has me impressed from what I`ve heard.
Formerly the "Best Detailer", now just Super Wax Waster Man. Not necessarily tactful, but normally right. It`s good to be da King !!!

That`s the way all coatings should be created...to be applied and removed like a wax or sealant after 30 minutes. Hope the other coating manufacturers are taking note.

    Great test.
PA coatings are very easy to apply, its an important issue, especially when applying a coating for the first time.
Both, master sealant and cosmic wont last as some of the other coatings on the market, but i think they both worth it,as theyre a very quality products.
Master sealant is very glossy and sharp look, its a flake popper,i love it.
Cosmic is the closest coating to a wax {by look} that can be found, its very wet and shiny, its a spaciel one,and so easy to apply..

Great review Jesse! Thanks for sharing this.

I`m looking forward to the beading/sheeting update!

How long is the manufacturer claiming the coating will last? It`s very interesting that their coating acts like a traditional LSP...

Very interesting how that coating goes on and off, looks like applying a wax instead no?

Cosmic should last for 18-24 months and the Master Sealant should last around 12 months as noted on Polish Angels` website.

Yes, it was sort of like applying a liquid wax/sealant, and it was very easy to work with and wipe off.

    Two week update!

Here are some beading pictures of the vehicle: (I tried to get some good pictures after it rained, but the sun started drying the car pretty quickly)

Close up water beads on the Master Sealant:

Close up on the Glasscoat Cosmic:

In my opinion, I thought that the coating had the better water beads. It looked more round and uniform, but it could be just the effect of the water drying at a quick rate. I didn`t have time to do any other testing with water. Both sides still look amazing, and gave nice reflections and have a nice, deep, wet look.
