Blackfire AIO Trim and Tire Protectorant (Mini Review)

After seeing many fantastic reviews on the Blackfire AIO Trim and Tire Protectorant I decided to pick up a bottle and give it a try. My 2006 Dodge Ram has a vinyl tonneau cover and I figured that with much of the other plastic on the truck would be the perfect test for it.

    Product Description:

BLACKFIRE All-In-One Trim & Tire Protectant Cleans, restores, protects, and beautifies exterior plastic trim and tires. Built-in cleaners remove embedded dirt from tires, including white walls. Use on tonneau covers, engine compartments, and plastic moldings. This unique formula dries to the touch and will not sling. BLACKFIRE All-In-One Trim & Tire Protectant will quickly become the most used – and arguably the most versatile – detailing product in your garage!

BLACKFIRE All-In-One Trim & Tire Protectant is far more than just another trim protectant or tire shine product. Formulated with a blend of cleaners and degreasers, All-In-One Trim & Tire Protectant removes grease and grime while beautifying the surface with a low-gloss, satin sheen of protection. The Water-based formula will not attract dirt or dust.

    Application:

I applied Blackfire AIO with a round MF applicator and worked in on my tonneau cover, mirrors, and grille trim. Immediately after using I could tell the product was cleaning the surface as I could see the small amounts of dirt on the MF app. The product left a nice sheen that wasn`t overly glossy.

    Thoughts:

    1. Excellent product. Knowing now that I won`t have to break out a seperate APC to clean my plastic and treat them is such a plus.
    2. Product left just the right amount of gloss. Not overly shiny or greasy.
    3. Use of use (outstanding). This would be the perfect product for someone doing rinseless and waterless washes. One less product that has to be carried around.
    4. I still have to try it on the tires on my garage queens. This product seems to be the perfect since I never break out the hose to wash my wheels or tires.

    Cons:

    1. The product did run on my tonneau cover after it rained. This was probably due to the fact that I did not buff the surface.

All and all another winning product from Blackfire.

Great...another product I have to pick up from the Blackfire line. Thanks for the review. Curious of the durability or if this would be something I would apply after every wash.

Looking good! Thanks for the reveiw, Pat.

I agree with your list of pro`s as well. Skipping the pre-cleaning APC step is a nice time saving benefit of using BF`s All-In-One Trim & Tire Protectant.

I wanted to add, on tires this stuff just repels the water/rain. Almost like a coating! Did not run or streak either. Amazing for a WB product.
