    Pressure washing question??

How do you guys use a pressure washer to wash a vehicle??

I use the applicator head to apply wolfgang soap and then use a moderate head to rinse. I only use this if it is dusty or slightly dirty. If it is dirtier than I rinse with the pressure washer, apply soap, scrub with a mitt, then rinse again.

Does this sound right? I figure if I only touch the vehicle to dry = less swirls and scratched.

    Thanks,

    Re: Pressure washing question??

Here is how I do it.

1.) Pressure wash all the wheels and wells using the PW and tire, wheel chemicals.

2.) Pressure wash all the paint. Especially the lowerpanels.

3.) Spray off all the undercarriage and exhaust.

4.) Foam Gun entire car for presoak.

5.) Wash using foam gun and 2 buckets. (wash/rinse)

6.) Pressure wash off the car

7.) Flood the car with a cutoff hose.

    Thats it!!

Greg, how long does it take you do do this process to an average size 4-door car?

    I`m more intense than that
My advice is to not to aim the pressure gun at the paint, go side on and slide the grime off
Car care/detailing sadly isn`t high on the agenda for 98% of australians.
