    Polish Angel Sprayduster Rayview

Just a quick rayview this time but I wanted to share my thoughts on Polish Angel SprayDuster.

Over this past weekend, I had the opportunity to try PA Sprayduster on two separate occasions.

On the first occasion, I noticed a few greasy fingerprints around the doors after grabbing lunch with a few friends. It was the middle of the afternoon in Florida and the sun was out in full force. I grabbed a Supreme 530 microfiber towel and got to work. The first thing I noticed was the fragrance. I`d name it "Chemical Coconuts". It was a really pleasant smell. Then I noticed how thick the product was. In the product description it mentions the "unique thick formula" a few times for good reason. If you`ve ever used "Dodo Juice Red Mist Tropical Protection Detailer", then you`ll have an idea on the viscosity of this product. Just like the Dodo Juice QD, I don`t think you need very much of this product to wipe down a panel. I found myself only pulling the trigger about half way to apply enough product around the door handles and glass. My microfiber towel slid across the paint and the product flashed off easily, even in direct sunlight.

    I was left impressed.

(reenactment if I looked like Mila Kunis)

On the second occasion, I returned home to find my roommate wiping down his truck with his preferred QD (currently PBL Diamond Coating Detailer). I didn`t want him to have all the fun so I decided to give PA Sprayduster a second test. This time it was late in the afternoon and the sun wasn`t going to be around for much longer. I went around my entire car with the same great results. I really like the Coconut smell and the gloss it left behind was great. So far this QD was passing with flying colors, but the true test wouldn`t come until the next morning....

Keep in mind, my car is coated with Optimum Gloss-Coat. If a QD or Spray Wax doesn`t bond properly to my coating, then I find my car to have a streaks in the morning with the morning moisture in the air. This morning, I was pleased to find uniform beads of water on the surface of my car without any streaking. Overall, this is a great QD that I`ll be looking forward to using again in the near future.

    Thanks for reading!

Thanks for the RayView, Vega! Sounds like a winner.

Looking forward to your take on Polish Angel “V” Carnauba Wax. Are those rhinestones I see on it`s "unique oak storage box"?

Well so it does... I wonder how much of the $700+ price tag goes into paying for that nonsense?

The stuff looks interesting, and it has a good reputation. However, my guess is it`s prolly no better than stuff from Sonax, Poor Boys, Pinnacle, etc...

If I believed the stuff was better - I wouldn`t mind paying. But when your paying the same price for 2oz of one brand - and 16oz for another - it seems a bit crazy. Those two oz bottles wouldn`t last me too long... How many hundreds is a big bottle??? Yikes.

$700 dollar wax isn`t even in my vocabulary. I have some waxes in $200-300 range, but I`ve found the price of a wax has almost zero correlation to how good it is.

I was surprised to hear that the Sprayduster has a thick texture, I assume, much like Presto that I got a sample of and tested recently. I woulda thunk the Sprayduster would have been a thinner counterpart to Presto.
These are strange products, but from what I can tell, very good ones. Just pricey.

I understand what your saying but you just cant compare PA to other products in terms of the amount of product you use. You`re using much less product with PA because its highly concentrated with very high quality ingredients. Each product is made fresh in Germany and shipped two day. Sonax and all the other companies are buying great ingredients but im sure no where near the quality nor have the quality control standards PA is up keeping (preparing each bottle separately). So if your willing to pay for those type of ingredients and your willing to pay for the quality control going into each product, then its worth it. A lot of companies are selling waxes that are on the upper end of the spectrum, I believe even chemical guys is selling a $1,700 wax. To make that expensive of a wax for PA is business decision that they are making based on the market is demanding in Germany their primary market. I don`t think their prices are that out of control for what you`re getting. Hopefully you win the potential give away from autopia for PA products so you can make a first hand judgment.

    Re: Polish Angel Sprayduster Rayview

I ordered the Carnauba Arts Silver Alunite for our Silver Coast Metallic CTS Coupe and Carnuba Arts White Alabaster for my Arctic White corvette. I ordered on the 12th and received it on the 18th.

I ordered these on Polish Angel USA site because Autopia does not stock these at this time and with my OCD I wanted to try them out now

I have only used the silver alunite and can say a little goes a long way and has a very nice shine to it. The White Alabaster will be put on this Friday for my road trip.

I`ve heard so many products are "different" or "better" for this or that reason. So many new companies come and are the best thing ever for this or that reason.

Quite frankly, I don`t see "preparing things by hand" as a plus in any respect. Manufacturing consistency is not achieved by making things by hand. In fact, the most uniform consistent products are likely blended precisely and more accurately by machines and technology.

I`m convinced these PA products are fine. But, I`m not convinced they are any better than anything else out there.

Agreed. I`m sure they`re wonderful products, but I seriously doubt anybody could convince me the price is worth it vs. other quality proven products that perform well. Different strokes for different folks.....it`s a wonderful thing

Goes on thick but can be spread around easily. It does have a nice shine to it but like stated above FK425, Optimum Spray Enhancer, Menzerna Quick shine do just as got as a job IMO but I am a novice and I always spritz when drying so something always goes on.

Will I try it again probably not again price comes into affect. I am a Quick spray detailer junkie

UPDATE: I used Sprayduster again yesterday evening and it was a pleasure to use again. Super smooth, smells great and leaves a great gloss. After wiping down the entire car with this, I was honestly worried I`d notice dirt or pollen stick to the paint more than just having naked Gloss-Coat on the paint but so far so good.
