Has anyone used Megs 101 and if so do you know if can it be used with MF pads? I have a DAS 6 pro orbital polisher.

TheMac- Saw you asked this on another thread too...I haven`t used M101, but a few people here have and they do like it via MF pads.` The general concensus seems to be that the much cheaper M100 is almost as good, but IMO if the cost of M101 doesn`t bother you, then that`s the one to get.` I plan to pick some up myself some day...

Can I use a product like this and then finish with a water based product without wiping the car down with some sort of alcohol`solution to get rid of fillers and / or oils?

    Re: Meguiars 101

I use 101 with MF pads often, great cut and the finish is very good on medium to hard paints. I usually add a drop of D300 or 205 to keep the dusting to a minimum and to give a better finish. 101 doesn`t fill or leave oil residue for me (that I`ve noticed).
