So we are getting in samples of the Black Pearl trim and tire coating at It`s Better Waxed and I want to know your opinions. `I am only one person, with my own expectations and experiences. `I got to try out my sample of the tire shine that markets the "bling without the sling." I got to also try out their preferred cleaner, Omni Clean, which is extremely potent and powerful. `It was capable of cleaning years of grime and dirt.

    `

Before I get into specifics, I am going to say one thing. I want everyone to get their hands on this tire coating. `We are releasing a public write up and review on ItsBetterWaxed.com this week. `But before we do, I want to do something very special. `I want everyone to try a sample, and so I will give all new subscribers 40% off their first months box! Never will this happen again. `The coupon will only be good until FRIDAY so do not wait. I expect the boxes to be sold out way earlier than that.

If you already tried the coating, what do you think about it? I had issues prepping my tires, but that`s a personal issue not a product defect. That is quite literally the only drawback I could find. `If an end-user can find a method to clean their tires properly (OmniClean seems to do the job just right) then we have ourselves a winner here.

I have some sitting in the garage but just haven`t gotten around to trying it yet. Looking forward to see hold it holds up.

I was at the north eastern detailers meet a few months ago, and my car was used as the demo mule for the Black Pearl. Unfortunately, my tires were due to be changed and I changed them out after having BP on for only 2 months, but even that that, it was still looking as good as when first applied. Of course, prep is key for this product. I just did all 4 of my new tires last week, so I will be able to keep an eye on the durability, but if the last set was still good at 2 months, I have no worries about it lasting 4-5-6 months. The only down side I can see, is if clients/end users curb the tire, the coating peels/flakes off unevenly, so solvent is needed to blend the edges smooth before reapplying.

I will personally be going with the matte finish next time though, I`m not a huge fan of the "wet tire" look.
